- 1. Inspirational Pictures Spectrum - Student Magazine
- 2. The outside of the college inspired the masthead of my student magazine because of the bright colours. This made me think of the word spectrum, as there is a wide spectrum of colours on the walls. I thought that this would represent how the college accepts everyone and their differences, and therefore appeal to my target audience, as there are a wide spectrum of people going to the college.
- 3. I found this in the library and thought that the spectrum of colours linked to the outside of the college. The fact that the word aspire is written in a different colour for each letter made me think again about how everyone is different, and that we should all aspire to be the best that we can be and celebrate our differences, which will be the message behind my magazine. I think that the target audience will appreciate that the magazine is inclusive, and hopefully using direct address I can make the magazine feel personal to everyone.
- 4. Whilst I was in the library, I looked down the aisles at all of the books and films and thought about all of the characters and stories within them. This made me think of how many people and stories there are within the college. The target audience of my magazine will want to hear about people within the college. Stories about joining societies, getting stressed about exams, and tips about how to be the best you can be at the college. The masthead of my student magazine is inspired by the students and the fact that, whilst we all have different stories, everybody matters.
