3. I particularly like the poster style magazines as they
have a very simple, uncluttered design yet in my
opinion are very effective. The main focus is on the
image and this is also how I would like mine to appear.
In this case it is very important to take a very good
photo and make it appealing to the target audience as
this will be their main incentive to buy. I also really like
how the masthead, barcode, date and other such
details are contained within a white box along the
top, this makes it look very clean and give the
magazines a professional look
5. I particularly like some of those mastheads as they have
interesting font styles. I also really like how some of
them overlap the main image on the front, thus making
them work very well together. Another feature I like,
and one which I think is effective, are the white on red
mastheads. These are very striking and appealing to the
eye and help to obtain the potential readers attention.
This particular style would also help to create a brand
identity for the magazine.
