Sonus will be the name of the magazine, meaning "sound" in Latin. The slogan "Music to the Eyes" will appear under the masthead to represent how the magazine will be read while focusing on music. A serif typeface was chosen for the simple masthead design to match the magazine's minimalist, poster style and be consistent with the Latin name.

2. I have chosen the name ‘Sonus’ for my
magazine, meaning ‘sound’ in Latin.
I have also chosen to use the slogan, “Music to
the Eyes” which will appear immediately under
my masthead when I create my magazine. I feel
this slogan works really well, as a magazine is
something that will be read (the eyes), but in
this particular case it’s all about music.
