2. Inspiration
• The genre I have chosen to make my music
video about is Rap, after I had talked to a few
friends and asked about which music video
genre would be best to do, due to what they
listen to on a daily basis and which would be
best to do on the knowledge that we know
about the genre, so therefore this has inspired
us to use this genre as we listen to it on a daily
basis and know quite a lot about it.
3. Audience
• The audience of Rap, is anyone who is
interested in singers such as Eminem, ASAP
Rocky and many more. The age range depends
on if they are brought up in rough areas, such
as people may be well known to Rap music
from an early age and many young adults
enjoy Rap music as well, so I guess the age
range can be from anywhere near the ages of
12- 25. however anybody could listen to Rap
music if they enjoy it.
4. Conventions
• There are many conventions a Rap music
video can give to a user, some examples
consist of the artist wearing jewellery such as
big gold chains and rings, also some videos are
filmed in rough areas. This is done to show
that anybody can be rich and have a lot of
money and that it doesn’t matter where you
are from its about heart and the passion of
the songs and the lyrics.
