An input device is a peripheral that provides data and control signals to a computer system, such as keyboards, mice, scanners and cameras. An output device sends data from a computer to another device, like monitors, projectors, speakers, headphones and printers, which are commonly used by humans. Input and output devices allow interaction between users and computers by facilitating data input and output.
