• The three wise men followed the star of the
Bethlehem and found the king. Artaban, the
fourth wise man, sold all his possessions so
that he could bring worthy gifts for the child
Jesus. He carried the Sapphire, the Ruby, and
the Pearl but he was delayed. Would he ever
reach the King?
5. • Artaban was delayed because, on his
journey, he helped a sick Hebrew peasant. After
ensuring that the peasant was alright, he rode
fast across the place to where the three Magi
were waiting only to find out that they had gone
without him. So he returned to Babylon, sold his
Sapphire and provided camels to cross the
desert. At last, he arrived at the village of
Bethlehem.

• One day , the rabbit was caught between the
crocodiles sharp teeth. Of course the rabbit was very
frightened, but he did not want the crocodile to know
this,” I’m not afraid of you”, said the rabbit. “I’m only
afraid of animals that roars. Everyone knows that the
crocodile can’t roar, so you can’t frightened me .”
• When the crocodile heard this, he became very
angry. He wanted to show the rabbit that he could
roar as fiercely as a tiger. And so the corcodile
opened his mouth to roar. Instantly the clever rabbit
jumped fast and escaped.
