There is currently an initiative to establish a Board of Computing Professionals Malaysia (BCPM), which will function to accredit ICT academic programmes, as well as to promote, facilitate and regulate the profession (very much like the Board of Engineers for engineering, and the Bar Council for the legal profession, etc.). This initiative is under the purview of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MOSTI) and led by the National ICT Human Resource Task Force under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and within the ICT Human Capital Development Framework.

As a result of significant turbulence in the industry since 2015, the engineering construction industry has recognised the need to collaborate for project efficiency. This webinar was held on 28 September 2021.
Working with industry partners, the ECITB has developed a guidance toolkit that supports the development of a collaborative project environment. The presentation will provide an overview of the Project Collaboration Toolkit, associated case studies that have demonstrated the value of collaboration and ongoing work to develop a collaborative working agreement that supports these behaviours.

WIPO manual titled 'Intellectual Property Teaching in Countries in Transition' (http://www.wipo.int/publications/en/details.jsp?id=4115&plang=EN/) which began in 2009 and concluded in 2013. I worked as IP country expert on the IP teaching tool. The group of country experts came together once a year to share their work in progress and contributions.
The purpose of the Study was to identify the special needs of countries in transitions with respect to intellectual property (IP) training and education, to define the different goals and objectives of such training, and to facilitate the development of a core curriculum and innovative methodologies for teaching IP in countries in transition.
