The new consumer in the global village   The consumer, the worker, the user of public services, the tourist, sometimes the patient and eventually, the voter are the same person: a citizen, member of a community Adding new dimensions to the sole performance/safety/price criteria: environment, energy, security, ethics, social impact… The Internet and ICT, as well as global supply chains, increase the hyper choice of products and services, and distances the producer from the user
