This conference will focus on:
• Achieving consistency and quality in job opportunities for
Indigenous people
• Developing innovative processes to meet changing
policies and funding allocation
• Improving transitions from unemployment or education
into successful careers
Tackling new challenges
To succeed in the sustained employment of Indigenous workforces,
organisations must further their communication and collaboration,
and develop their processes to meet changing policies.
With changes in funding allocation and programs, employment
service providers are facing new pressure to provide faster and more
efficient service delivery.
This conference will provide businesses with information about what
it looks like to introduce strategies to provide faster placements of
workers within organisations without compromising the quality of
service and training.

Post Conference Workshop B
Friday 22nd May 2015, 9:00am – 4:00pm
With an increase in working hours needed to meet requirements for Work for
the Dole, the demand for placements for the Indigenous workforce can also

is paramount for employment services and employees in 2015. Attend this
workshop to create a framework for engaging job-seekers in meaningful
work.
Why attend this workshop?
• Learn how to increase availability and accessibility of employment
• Brainstorm with other participants to share experiences and uncover
innovative solutions
What you will take away by attending

this workshop to learn how to benefit from collaboration and refine current
partnership strategies.
Why attend this workshop?
• Understand how collaboration and partnerships can create opportunities
• Learn how to seek new partnership opportunities and strengthen existing
ones
• Consider how health, education and social components can contribute to
successful career-building
What you will take away:
• Benefit from increased collaboration with neighbour organisations
• How to identify the strongest partnership opportunity for your organisation
• Achieve sustained employment results through better communication
