India has a rich cultural heritage with 32 World Heritage sites that include both cultural and natural sites. Some of the most famous cultural sites include the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Qutub Minar in Delhi, and the Red Fort in Delhi, all of which are examples of Mughal architecture. Indian citizens take pride in preserving these historic sites for future generations.

5. “A statement of undying love”. Taj
Mahal, Agra, is undoubtedly
one of the supreme
accomplishments of Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan, the ruler
of the Mughal Empire of India,
who was known for his
architectural achievements,
commissioned the building of
the Taj Mahal as a tomb for his
beloved queen in glaring white
marble that the world would
never forget.

6. The tall and ever attractive
monument of Delhi which
can be seen from most
parts of the city is called
the Qutub Minar. Mughals
used to build victory
towers to proclaim and
celebrate victories. Some
say the Minaret was used to
offer prayer but it is so tall
that you can hear the
person standing on the top.

the Mughal Emperor of
India for nearly 200 years,
until 1857. It is located in
the centre of Delhi and

servicemen's names, including
some soldiers and officers from
the United Kingdom, are
inscribed on the gate. The India
Gate evokes the architectural style
of the triumphial arc and is often
compared to the Arc de Triomphe
