Some Achievements • Company A - installed and used by 50 GP practices within Cheshire. • Company B - trials at two hospitals Mid Cheshire Trust and Aintree. • Company C – technology being used by St James Place, Merseycare. • Company D - developing new products specifically for Liverpool Women • Company E – provided strategic advice to help shape company. • Company F – reached interview stage of funding competition • Company G - received £50k investment • Company H – currently discussing investment with business angels

- Can I start with asking you to raise your hands if you have one of these? Before you are checking whether you have a Samsung that is the same model? I’m just referring to a mobile. Can you please raise your hands if you have a mobile phone? Nearly everyone! How many had one say 20 years ago? Not many With changes in technology we have all advanced our personal communication by investing in these.
- If you look at the evolution over the last few decades then it has been significant From phones being used principally for communication but now with Smart phones can be used for many things including health
- Whilst Communication is important surely so is our Health But has the technology in our Health Services improved at a similar rate? Yes, there have been developments but we need to do more? There are barriers to this advancements.
