Indefinite pronouns are words that replace nouns without specifying which noun they replace. There are two categories of indefinite pronouns: those that refer to a nonspecific noun like "all" or "any", and those that refer to a specific noun and can be singular like "everybody" or plural like "both". Indefinite pronouns must agree in number with the verb or personal pronoun they refer to - singular pronouns take singular verbs and plural pronouns take plural verbs. Examples are provided to demonstrate correct usage.

(Her refers to one, which is singular)
