Institutional delivery is important for the safety of both mother and baby. Giving birth at home poses several risks, including lack of medical assistance if complications arise during labor and delivery. Pregnant women face higher risks if they are under 18 or over 35, have had 4 or more previous births, have a history of birth complications, low weight, multiple babies, or abnormal fetal positioning. Danger signs like bleeding, pain, illness or convulsions during pregnancy indicate a need for medical care. Potential delivery issues involve excessive bleeding, prolonged labor, abnormal fetal positioning, or preterm birth. Home births lack sterile medical equipment and weighing facilities for the newborn.

2. One of the leading causes of maternal and
infant mortality is the lack of trained Daima at
home and the birth of a child in an unhygienic
environment. Institutional delivery is essential
for the safety of mother and baby.

3. Pregnant women leads to risk
• The woman became pregnant again within 2
years.
• Pregnant women under 18 and over 35.
• A woman who has had 4 or more children.
• Women who have previously had childbirth
problems or had given birth through Surgery.

4. • Women who have previously given birth to a
stillborn child or who have had an abortion
before.
• Women who weigh less than 36 kg and are
less than 145 cm (4 ft 10 in) tall.
• If twins are in the womb.
• If the position of the fetus is abnormal.

5. Danger sign during pregnancy
• Bleeding during pregnancy.
• Unusual pain in the head or pain in the lower
abdomen
• Too much illness.
• Convulsions.
• Chronic urinary incontinence.

6. Complications may be seen during
childbirth
• Excessive bleeding.
• More than 12 hours of labor pains.
• If the baby's hands come out first.
• If there is a possibility of delivery before 36
weeks of pregnancy.

7. Risk of home delivery
• Germs of various diseases (tetanus, polio, etc.)
can enter the body if the baby's veins are not cut
in a healthy way, if dirty clothes are blocked in the
veins, or if something else is put on the baby.
• The correct weight of the baby is not found at
home (the correct birth weight of the baby is
found if the weight is taken within 48 hours of
birth).
• Complications during childbirth can put both the
baby and the mother at risk.
