This document discusses the implementation of the think-pair-share (TPS) cooperative learning model in mathematics instruction in Manokwari, West Papua, Indonesia. It finds that initially some student pairs did not cooperate well and discussions were not fully conducive. However, modifications were made so that students were paired with others of different knowledge levels, and subsequent lessons saw improved discussion and participation from all students. The study aims to modify the TPS procedure to better suit mathematics instruction and students in Manokwari.
