This document discusses a study on the space planning factors of traditional houses in Terengganu, Malaysia. It conducted a survey of 325 Terengganu citizens to analyze the effects of interior space needs, elements, and planning on the houses. The study found that space planning is important for traditional houses as it reflects cultural characteristics and affects occupants' behavior and quality of life. It also found a relationship between furniture layout and interior spaces. Color was also found to be an important element in interior space planning as it impacts sensory and visual perception. The study aims to help design interior spaces in traditional houses that better meet occupants' needs and customs while preserving cultural aspects.
