This study examines preschool teachers' knowledge and practices in implementing the thematic approach in education, highlighting their limited understanding of the method despite using the national curriculum. Through observations and interviews with five teachers, the research reveals that they primarily rely on traditional subject-based teaching rather than integrating themes effectively, which hinders holistic child development. The findings indicate a critical need for guidelines and training to enhance teachers' competency in embodying the thematic approach in their teaching methodologies.
