The Team works in a very organized manner just like an Industry and attaining standards of an International Formula Student Racing team and the team is structured in such a way so as to produce all round individuals and capable engineers .

Siddhanth Haridas Nair graduated from Pillai Institute of Information Technology with a degree in Automobile Engineering in 2016. He has experience in automobile engineering projects focused on product management and reducing delay periods. He is currently pursuing a Masters Diploma in Automobile Design from a CAD CAM center to further his skills in design software like CREO, NX CAD, ANSYS, and CATIA. In his academic career, he improved his GPA from 5.44 to 8.08, standing second in his branch in his 7th semester.

The internship involved two projects: fabricating a 4-port optical fiber coupler and analyzing surface plasmon resonance devices based on optical fiber through experimental and theoretical methods. For the coupler project, Das twisted and etched two optical fibers to create the coupler and characterized it by measuring its reflection and transmission spectrum of a tilted fiber Bragg grating. What FSAE is?? • It is an organisation that carries out student automotive racing competitions around the world. • FSAE racing competitions take place every year in more than 10 countries. • This is an opportunity for students to show their engineering skills before the world by designing and building formula based vehicle. • The competition takes place over a week and judged by different leading F1 car chief engineers.
- 3. IIT Roorkee Motorsports IITRMS is a group of Engineering Students competing in International Collegiate Design event- Formula Student. We design, fabricate ,analyze, test and run a race car. First time in Dec. 2011 we represented India at Formula SAE Australia. This year we went to Formula Student UK in the month of July.
- 4. Types Of Events There are two types of events in Formula Student- Static: Technical Inspection ,Cost & Manufacturing, Presentation and Design Dynamic: Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross, Fuel Economy and Endurance.
