On May 28, 2015, high school students Morgan Cassidy and Coralyn Whalen performed their self
choreographed jazz duet, titled Clarity. Clarity is the story of two people in a very addicting
relationship, that is completely hopeless, but continues to hold on to hope. Clarity, along with many
other pieces performed in St. Theresa Catholic Secondary Schools dance recital, was an effective and
eye catching piece that used distinct emotion throughout the entire song. The piece had very
substantial timing issues, and minor technique issues, but overall, the piece demonstrated excellent
partnership and promising potential.

One thing the film did not do so well was an accurate representation of the Arabian people.
There was a great deal of obvious race bending going on amongst the main leads. Maybe this
could be chalked up to a lack of Arab actors or inherent racism in Hollywood at the time,
however, most of the main characters were portrayed by Caucasian actors. John Justin
and Conrad Veidt, portray the lead characters of Jaffar and Ahmad the sultan in brownface,
whereas Sabu is Indian and portrays an Arabian thief. Throughout the film, I could not help but
get a sense of how the Arabian culture was being romanticized through a Western lens. I could
almost argue that, had this film been directed by someone of a different race other than
Caucasian, the outcome and casting decisions for main leads would most likely have been

In order to be a successful leader, I need to be able to recognize environments that will make me
successful. By understanding my natural preferences and limitations, I can pursue the right
opportunities, in the right way, at the right moment, and get the results I want.
As a result of taking the DISC Assessment, I found that my primary natural style is I (Influencing,
Inspiring) and my secondary style is S (Stabilizing, Steadiness) which I found to be very accurate. My
natural behaviors are relationship focused. Although, I have some flexibility to operate within the C
style (Compliant, Conscientious), the most difficult development zone for me is the D style
(Dominant, Directing) and will require a deliberate change in behavior and a great deal of energy as I
fall in the lower level of this style.

Ben Jonson wrote Shakespeare was not of an age, but for all time, representing how 21st century ideas
and themes can be connected back to the time when 1 Henry IV was written. One contemporary issue
displayed in the play is a phenomenon known as helicopter parenting. According to Webster s
Dictionary, a helicopter parent is when a parent is very involved in a child s life. Parents will often put
expectations on their children to achieve certain dreams parents have of their kids. Thus, putting a

Barbier Von Bagdad The two act comic opera Barbier Von Bagdad is a two act opera composed by
Peter Cornelius to a German Libretto by the composer in 1858. The libretto is based on two stories,
The Tale of the Tailor and The Barber s Stories of his Six Brothers from The Arabian Nights, as
commonly known as One Thousand and One Nights. This collection of Middle Eastern, Indian, and
North and Western African stories of unknown date and authorship was written in 9th century, when
the Arabs were rapidly expanding their territories and the influence of Islam. The stories in the
collection praised the virtues from the Arabians standard and spread their value around the world. As
one of the most well known Middle Eastern literature, One Thousand and One Nights has not only set
the story of Barbier Von Bagdad in an exoticized world, but also fit into the German people s typical

George,) (2015), no whishes or bells, just simplicity. Whoever, within simplicity, academic efficiently,
has been challenging. the systemic bureaucracy of achieving educational efficiently, has most
defiantly been a learning experience, in developing positive performance in acquiring academic
proficiency.
In order to achieve as a consumer, who has purchased my education, to reach proficiency, in term of
my current educational goals, simplicity, is the key aspect in with my educational structure. I currently

(2015) when currently in study, as I seldom play games on social media, however, I find my
