Analysis Of AmГ©lie
AmГ©lie is a 2001, French romantic comedy set in Montmartre, Paris, France during the late
1990s. The film follows AmГ©lie as she wanders through the city, and portrays a variety of
perspectives on daily life in the city. The film is set in and around iconic areas of Paris, France,
where viewers are given glimpses of classical French architecture and landmarks. This essay will
argue that the film AmГ©lie portrays daily Parisian life through a romanticized lens. This essay
will offer discussion on how the film provides a commentary on urban life in Paris. The following
paragraphs will offer a discussion on the portrayal of the city, the reasoning for these portrayals,
how they might affect the audience and how such portrayals impact one s... Show more content on

What is important to consider is what is missing from this representation of the city. Jean Pierre
Jeunet is the director of the film, he is quoted as saying, I wanted to make a fake Paris, a very
nice Paris, like in my head when I was twenty and I arrived in Paris for the first time. I wanted to
avoid the bad things: traffic jams, dog shit on the street, the rain (Portegies, 2010, p. 55). What
AmГ©lie projects is simply a cinematic version of Paris (Durham, 2008, p. 178). Jeunet was
criticized for this depiction of Paris, which appeared to erase, as if by magic, all traces of graffiti,
crime, pollution, and social unrest (Ezra, 2004, p. 301). The film s setting used more than eighty
separate locations, and is, so vetted and filtered that the manufactured Paris scape resembles little
more than a sustained advertisement for a traditional French product (Portegies, 2010, p. 56). This
romanticized version of Paris is then exacerbated by the traditionally associated French clichГ©s
which are present throughout the film. Thus, AmГ©lie seeks to contrast the dark and gritty
imaginings of the city and instead make it an attractive place to be. Jeunet s contemporary Paris,
creates astonishing adventures out of the everyday life. For some, this reimagining of the city
erases the experiences and lives of actual people within the city. The focus of the film does not give
the viewer an honest

How Food Waste Management Is Implemented On A Local Scale...
Waste is seen as a sign of human success, where the more waste that is generated the wealthier the
human population is (Bulkeley, H et al 2009). The world produces enough food to provide for twice
the number of the present population which is ironic looking at the global number of malnourished
people. Politically, the more we buy the better our economy will be, but finding the balance between
economic development and environmental sustainabilityis key to extending the social, cultural and
economic lives of things (Bulkeley, H et al 2009). Downs (1972) states that environmental
problems have a life cycle where there is an increase in people becoming motivated to make a
change, but as time goes on they lose interest and abandon all effort (Eden, S 2005). In this essay
we will look at how the human population needs to take responsible actions to help humanity and
the environment. The John McIntyre Conference Center is an example used to show how food waste
management is implemented on a local scale. It shows how much food waste Edinburgh University
students discarded without taking into consideration the future health and environmental hazards.
The JMCC have taken steps to ensure a level of education regarding food waste for the students and
staff, as well as investing in improved policies and equipment to limit wastage. We then go one step
further and look at how the Scottish Government has implemented sustainable policies for
Edinburgh households and their effectiveness.

Medical Marijuan Controlled Substance Abuse (NIDA)
Introduction Marijuana is classified as a Schedule I substance under the US federal Drug
Scheduling system created by the Controlled Substances Act of 1970 (CSA), which indicates that
the substance has a high potential for abuse and no approved medicinal use. This policy has the
support of several propionate organizations such as the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA)
and the American Medical Association (AMA) (Office of National Drug Control Policy 2014).
Despite these facts, Medical Marijuana is currently legal in 23 States and the District of Columbia

the food shops, and Partnership services which are behind the scenes and control the running of
the services. John Spedan Lewis, the son carried on the business after Lewis s demise. It was him
that initiated the idea of sharing its profits to its employees. This practice is one of the reasons that
even in today s financial crisis, John Lewis is still one of the market leaders.
Just like every other successful company John Lewis also has a mission statement. It allows the
company to highlight their values and provide a brief summary. Their strategy is to keep their
employees or partners satisfied so business continues to improve and succeed. This is noticeable as
one takes a stroll through a John Lewis retail stores and takes in the strong atmosphere of staff
passionately explaining to customers about their products. (Full mission statement can be found in
appendix 1). Their strategy is based on three independent objectives partners, customers, and profit.

The Peloponnesian As A Noble Empire
Thucydides believes war teaches that although humans are able to strive to a high standard of
civilization conflict will bring human s downfall to chaos. Homer, however, depicts humanity as
often failing to reach their standards, but having empathy in the end. Athens introduces itself in
The History of the Peloponnesian as a noble empire. The Athenians state that We consider that we
are worthy of our power (HPW, 76) to argue that although Athens took power they have done
nothing wrong since they still consider justice in affairs with their subjects instead of using force
(HPW, 80). This impromptu speech of the Athenians in Sparta shows the values of the polis. This
was not a planned speech or even an embassy of the state yet they still spoke of justice,
consideration for the weak, and thoughtful decision making. These are the standards that Athens
held itself to before the war. Thucydides includes this speech to give a reference point for the
following events.
The values of culture, art, and philosophy are communicated through Pericles during the Funeral
Oration. Pericles praises Athens as a model to others and an education to Greece for its
democracy, speeches, equality, and individuality (Discussion, Sept 12). Although Thucydides
includes the speech to demonstrate Athens s superiority over the rest of the Hellenic world, he
juxtaposes it with the plague. During the plague the citizen desecrate the bodies of their loved
ones and No fear of god or law of man had

Essential Elements Of The Christian Worldview Are Faith,
Essential elements of the Christian worldview are Faith, Love, Forgiveness and Living in
Christ. These key elements are fundamental to Christ s teachings and also reflect my own
worldview. These four elements are an integral part of a Christian believer s life and defines our
relationship with God. The fourth element, Living in Christ, is comprised of many sub elements
like praise, prayer, and bearing witness. These sub elements could be described as fruits of a
Christian s believer s daily life.
Too much of the Christian worldview s attention is focused on reconciling the Bible with science

God created man in His own image. Some traces of God s characteristics can be seen in mankind
such as love, kindness, compassion and justice.
Humanity
The Bible says that man, made in the image of God, is also spirit. It is man s spirit that
communes with the Holy Spirit. God also gave man a free will which allows man to love God
willingly. Man created in the image of God has remnants of his character which includes the
capability to love, a reason of a high level, and communicate with God. Man was also created
with a sense of justice and morality. However, sin also resides in our nature and led to the fall of
Adam and Eve.
The purpose of man is to praise and worship God, proclaim his glory, and to accomplish his will.
... And whom I have created for My glory, ... (Isaiah 43:7 New International Version). God
created all things in harmony. He established a perfect creation that he loves and over which he
rules. The highest honor is given to mankind as the only part of creation made in God s image.
Humanity was created to love as God loves, to worship and praise his glory and commune with
him as he does with us.
However, much of humanity is overly concerned with their own self serving, self centered agenda
which is a form of idolatry. Many individuals worship whatever their life is ordered around, failing
to see it in the light of the glory of God. Humanity relentlessly departs from the path God had
intended for them. True

consistent, the only regular change that happens is the change between parties to have power in
parliament. This fluctuates between the Australian Labor Party and the Liberal party. A petition has
been signed in the past to try to make Australia a republic instead of a constitutional monarchy, and
have a president as head of the country, but this has been without success as of to day.4.Special

The World Can Benefit From Water Privatization
The concept of race outlives slavery and limits emancipation through the manifested ideals of white
supremacy and white privilege. The criminal justice system sets back colored communities by
arranging political boundaries and looking back on the precedent set by the emancipation
proclamation. With the ideologies shared within the Doctrine of Discovery, the Tenets of the
Eugenics Movement, and Neoliberal Capitalism, some multinational companies attempt to privatize
water. While water has remained an unpriced commodity for most of the world, consumption and
scarcity have raised some questions on whether the world can benefit from water privatization.

They share ideology that the Caucasian race is superior and actions should be taken to eliminate
or reduce their existence. There is a Eugenic standpoint present in the privatization of water due to
the views taken against the community whose water is at risk. Those standing to privatize water
are selectively choosing impoverished areas in order to generate a profit and dehumanize the area.
They carefully select the area, their target and how they approach the situation with the most
beneficial outcome. In Walter Rodney s essay, How Europe Underdeveloped , he discusses how
Europe underdeveloped Africa and those repercussions. Africa s circumstances in the early 1900 s
are similar to the water privatization movement. Rodney states, The combination of being
oppressed, being exploited, and being disregarded is best illustrated by the pattern of the economic
infrastructure of African colonies notably, their roads and railways (110). Similarly, countries under
scrutiny for privatization of water are under the same pressure of oppression, exploitation and
disregard, however for their unsteady economic state and water.

If you watch close, history does nothing but repeat itself.
What we call chaos is just patterns we haven t recognized. (Chuck Palahniuk, Survivor). This quote

coming back to haunt us. Although history has a reputation for repeating itself, some people also
believe you can t predict the future.
Many people believe you can t predict the future. People look at it like, somebody can just one

Sometimes you can even do it through your dreams. Prophetic dreams, also called precognitive
dreams, do not occur much, if at all, so you will have to be vigilant when it comes to remembering
and reading your dreams (wikihow.com)This quote proves my rebuttal, because Prophetic dreams
are dreams that predict the future, but you are lucky if you even have one, but if you do, then you

The Character Of Diana In The New Woman
George Meredith s 1885 Diana of the Crossways accounts the charming and witty titular heroine
through her miserable marriage and the subsequent fallout. Although Diana is based on polemicist
Caroline Norton s own disastrous marriage and divorce scandal, Meredith s protagonist borders
between New Woman themes and Victorian feminine ideals, as Diana does not damningly
deviates from the latter. In this essay, I will explore how Meredith has rendered the character of
Diana palatable for upper and middle class Victorian readers by comparing her to her real life
counterpart, to Thomas Hardys portrayal of the New Womanand his issues with publication and
how Meredith s characterization has created an archetypical character thereby allowing for
critical and commercial success. The New Woman was a feminist ideal used to describe an
independent, educated, and self reliant woman who typically would push the limits of the male
dominated society. While Meredith has come to be remembered as a friend to women s plight for
his sympathetic depiction of women in his novels, he has taken certain liberties to convey Diana as
digestible as possible to his audience rather than realistically or particularly liberated. In a time in
which women were expected to get married not that marriagewas meant to satisfy their emotional
or sexual needs Caroline Norton is often described as being pushed into marriage to George
Norton. Caroline Norton and her sisters had come to be known as the Graces , an allusion to the
Greek goddesses of charm, beauty, and human creativity, for their own beauty and
accomplishments. For this, George Norton was willing to accept her without a dowry. Meredith s
Diana abruptly enters her engagement after having her best friend s husband demonstrate sexual
interest in her. In a letter to her best friend, she states, Signify your approval, for I have decided
that it is the wisest thing a waif can do [marriage]. (Meredith 54) This slight narrative alteration
presents Diana sympathetically to the audience as a woman seeking male protection, a very proper
action a Victorian woman should make. The action seems sensible if not laudable, which will only
garner sympathy for Diana later on once it is revealed what

Behold 2009 By Sheela Gowda
It is interesting to note that this study was conducted amongst 800 companies across Indians hiring

Sheela Gowda s work entitled, Behold 2009 was first shown at the 53rd Venice Biennale. In it, she
uses four thousand metres of rope hand woven from human hair. Hanging entangled within this
black, knotted mass are twenty steel car bumpers. It is a dig at a common superstition held by
motorists in India. Motorists there often ties woven hair to car bumpers as a talisman for their
safety. In fact, it would not be a surprise if these motorists actually place more belief in this
talisman than the need for regular servicing to their vehicles. For Gowda the piece communicates a

modern life (F).

Identification is the first of the four steps in this process. Any user that expects to gain access to a
system referred to as a supplicant, and the tool that every user who gains entry to the network,
referred to as an Identifier. The identifier can have numerous different methods for identifying the
supplicant. The identifier should be able to locate the users credentials from a database of unique

through using the employees first and last name. In case there happen to be colleagues with
common names, such as John Doe, employee Id s or Social Security numbers remain utilized. In a

subtype of a form of leukemia called Acute Myelocytic Leukemia.
Leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. It forms when there is a mutation in the stem

induces differentiation of leukemic promyelocytes into mature granulocytes. . . (Coombs et al.) .
On its own, ATRA produced complete remission rates of up to 72%, but unfortunately the patients
suffered from frequent relapses. Another newer drug implemented in clinical settings was Arsenic
Trioxide, or ATO. ATO was first utilised in APL patients in the early 1990s, and led to a high CR
rate with relatively long term remissions when used as a single agent. In preclinical models, the
combination of ATRA and ATO demonstrated synergism in inducing differentiation and apoptosis,
allowing for targeted therapy of APL without chemotherapy. (Coombs et al.). Basically, on their
own, both drugs work fairly well, but together they work with each other to kill the leukemic cells.
However, this was only in models. They still needed to prove themselves in a clinical environment
over a wide range of patients. A group of South Asian cancer centers took the

Modern Day Syrian Arab Republic
Modern day Syria officially called the Syrian Arab Republic is located in southwest Asia. It is
bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Asia. This country is about
the size of the state of Washington at 76,500 square miles. In 1995 the populations was estimated at
14.2 million. There are many different ethnic and religion groups in Syria. Muslim is the primary
religion, but there are many Christians and Jews. When it comes to ethnicity Arab is the majority
with many Kurds, Armenians, Turkmen, and Assyrians. The primary language is Arabic, but
many ethnic groups have their own languages as well. Syrians have their own dialect from the
formal language, which divides them from other Arab speaking people (Jones). Much of the
immigration information on early Syrians to America such as the time periods and amount of
people is difficult to acquire. Syria was called Greater Syria before 1920, which was part of the
Ottoman Empire. Some immigrants may have been considered Turks or Lebanese at Ellis Island
even though they came from Syria. It is more likely that Syrian and Arab immigration occurred
after 1880. Also, many of the immigrants that came to American during and after the Civil War
returned to their originating country after earning money (Jones). There are many reasons why
people migrated from Syria to America. Many were seeking religious freedom, but the primary
incentive was the American Dream. Most of these immigrants worked

Formulations Of ELISA
configurations of antigens (substrates) and secondary antibodies [23, 24, 28, 30]. While most
ELISAs for detecting ANA use HEp 2 cell extract spiked with a combination of purified,
recombinant or native proteins associated with common SARD, quite a few do not include the HEp
2 cell extract. Thus, depending on the formulations of the ELISA, the clinical performance will vary
based on the specific SARD under evaluation. For ANA ELISAs designed with a complex mixture
of antigens such as the HEp 2 cell extract with unknown concentrations, antigens can compete for
binding to the available surface, affecting presentation of some antigenic targets. Alternatively,
conformational changes in antigenic structures may result in false positive results.... Show more

This is particularly important for the less common or more complex autoantibody targets
associated with SSc and IIM [3, 13, 21, 45, 46]. For example, patients with myositis have been
reported to test positive for a variety of antibodies to transfer RNA (tRNA) synthetases and other
proteins though available by LIA or MBA have been reported to have variable performance
characteristics and require more specialized forms of testing [45, 46 ]. The main advantages of
using alternative methods to IFA is provide better specificities, faster turnaround times, high
throughput, arbitrary value that may be useful to more reliable predict the more common SARD

Compared to the ELISA, the multiplex assays have the potential to be informative tools for
autoantibody cluster analysis or evaluating diseases with multiple autoantibody specificities like

known challenges associated with ANA IFA testing, a major strength of this technique as a

adolescent usage of cannabis. Previous research compiled by Griffith Lendering, Huijbregts,
Huizink, Ormel, Verhulst, Vollebergh and Swaab (2011) shows cannabis is one of the most widely
used substances, with frequent occurrence among young adults. Cannabis usage during this
developmental time is linked to educational problems, increased use of other illegal drugs and
deviant behavior. Other factors that lead to increased use of cannabis include low socioeconomic
status, poor academic performance, early usage of tobacco and alcohol, family problems, and
externalized behavior. Studying precursors of cannabis use is important to preventing not only
cannabis use, but also the use of other illegal drugs.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Theme Of Clever Manka
Compare and Contrast Between Clever Manka and The Story of an Hour
In reading the short stories, Clever Manka , by an Anonymous Writer and The Story of an Hour ,

the women interact in their relationships with their family, friends and most importantly their
husbands. While each of these women have a few similarities like age, and marital status. They
couldn t be more different from one another.
In the story Clever Manka we hear a tale of a young woman named Manka, who first gets
introduced to the story when she assists her father in solving a riddle. The riddle is given to
Manka s father and the rich farmer to settle a dispute regarding payment of work Manka s father
did for the rich farmer. The Burgomaster is intrigued by Manka s clever answers and marries her.
The Burgomasters only demand of his wife is that she does not interfere with his clients or

husband makes and disagrees with it. She then gives the client advice. Her husband finds out and
is upset and demands that she returns to her father s home. She requests that if she must leave that
she be allowed to take one thing from their house. The thing Manka decides on taking is the

The Importance Of Literacy Environment
Literacy Environment
Creating a literacy rich environment is one of the key elements of supporting children s literacy
development. Literacy rich classrooms tend to look quite different than the traditional classroom,
covered in pre made posters and arranged with individual desks in rows, and instead, allow for
teachers to design their classrooms with their students needs in mind. According to an article on the
Sadlier School s blog, all elements in a classroom must be meaningful, intentional, purposeful, and
engaging when creating a literacy rich classroom. This means that classroom design is created in a
way that it provides frequent opportunities to be exposed to text via environmental print,
instruction, and hands on learning as well as encouraging communication and collaboration
(Sadlier School, 2017).
The literacy rich classroom environment must be designed with the students needs in mind,
meaning it is student centered with teacher guidance, integrates technology, and is flexible to allow
for differentiation. The classroom should have a flexible design that can be adaptable and easily
changeable based on what the students are working on (Sadlier School, 2017). This means that the
seating arrangement is not based on individual desks, but rather tables or clusters of desks to
encourage students to collaborate and communicate in small groups or pairs, promoting oral
language mastery (Sadlier School, 2017). It should also promote hands on, student centric learning

Clinical Features Pneumonia is the cardinal clinical manifestation of Legionella infection.
Legionella is typically rated among the most commonly identifiable pathogens in community

arthritis, perirectal abscess, pancreatitis, peritonitis, and pyelonephritis have been described. The
most common extrapulmonary site involved is the heart; with numerous publications reporting
myocarditis, pericarditis, and even prosthetic valve endocarditis. [17 I]. Symptoms Incubation

The Immigration Is Not A New Concept Within The 21th Century
The immigration is not a new concept in the 21th century. Throughout history, people would travel
into new places to establish better lives. Immigration involves the movement of people from their
home country to a host country, which they are not native, to settle and live. People migrate for
many reasons; some of which include economic or political reasons, family reunification, natural
disasters, or the desire to change one s surroundings. Today, the influx of migration became a
dilemma in European nations, which ultimately brought so many people from other nations to get
settled, especially from war countries. Leaving your country into a new place might be the hardest
decision in your life you make, since you have no knowledge about it your new place. For the last
few years, thousands of immigrants from the Middle East, South Asia, and Asia are crossing the
borders of Europeillegally to look for new places and live in better. They take so much risks in
their lives and some even cannot make it through due to the brutality of borders and waters of the
seas and oceans. Immigrants get drowned in the sea. A friend of mine who left Afghanistan last
year with his two children and wife, his older son sunk in the Mediterranean Sea and died. Is it
worth it? However, those even who make to their final destinations have also have so much
difficulties to get settled. For example, some European nations do not accept the flow of
immigrants because they argue that immigrants will

Blue Jeans, the Ultimate American Icon Essay examples
Blue Jeans, the Ultimate American Icon
Gold was discovered in California in 1849. This resulted in more than eighty thousand American s
rushing to California. The pioneering spirit spread and by 1890, the West s population reached
nearly 17 million. The west became the most racially diverse part of the country. All were in search
of a better life for themselves and their families, seeking what would become known as the
American Dream. During this time innovation and creation were prompting remarkable growth in
industry. New products that made life more tolerable were spreading to all classes of people. One

When film spread across the country in the early 1900 s so did romanticized pictures of the west.
Western films portrayed the conquest of the frontier in the name of civilization. In these films, the
plot was almost always about good versus bad. The films usually showed the cowboy riding into a
lawless town and restoring order. Typical elements of western films included breathtaking settings
and open landscapes. In all the western films, the cowboys wore the same wardrobe, blue jeans
and boots. Americans living in the East became enamored with the West. Easterners began traveling
west to places like dude ranches to experience the spirit of the Wild West. Of course, the experience
was not complete with out the costume. Thus, blue jeans were purchased for the first time by non
westerners.
Blue jeans were no longer just for the hard working miners. People from the East bought them for
trips to the West. They brought them back East with them. In the East, blue jeans were not worn
often by all. Schoolchildren, boys in particular were often the only ones wearing them. Parents,
especially those of limited means, bought jeans for their children because of their durability.
During the 1930 s blue jeans were found all throughout schools. Children grew up wearing blue
jeans. Jeans had become a common article of clothing for a new generation. Blue jeans sales rose
at a steady pace after the Great Depression.

Argumentative Essay On Apollo 51
Apollo 51: The Surface of the Moon or a Sound Stage in Nevada ?
It was a long anticipated summer night, when millions of Americans crowded around their bulky
television screens. It was 1969, America had recently passed through the height of the Cold War,
but their relationship with the Soviet Union continued to become more hostile. There was no clear
winner in sight, and America was desperate for a definitive victory, it was this moment, in this very
moment that they finally had one, and they clung to it. This moment was, of course, the Apollo 11
moon landing on the 20th of July, 1969. However, as with many famous events captured in the
public eye, it wasn t long before conspiracies began to unfold. Some began to question the validity
of the photographs and videos associated with the moon landings, others made claims that the
government couldn t possibly have had the technology necessary to successfully land on the moon,
and some even went as far as to point out the exact set and director that supposedly filmed the
hoaxed moon landings. I first became aware of the conspiracy surrounding the moon landings about
two years ago when I watched a documentary on the topic and naturally, being the patriotic
American that I am, I sided with NASA without considering any evidence on either side of the
argument, but recently, the topic was brought up in conversation and it stuck an interest within me.
So in this essay I will throw my preconceived notions out the metaphorical window,

Research Paper On Football Stadiums

During the years of 2007 2009, the U.S was experiencing a recession, which may be explanation
as to why unemployment rates went up and the economic status of the cities also declined. This
could potentially create faulty/misleading data. I am unsure the purpose of finding information
about the economic status as well as the unemployment rates of these cities because it may
simply be a reflection of the unemployment rates as well as the economic status of the country.
The true issue I found within the course of my research is the fact that these different stadiums
are now competing with one another truly leads to a higher cost for us. In a sense, there is an
essence of inequality simply because the players and owners are the ones that receive the profits
earned from the stadiums. With limited knowledge of the NFL or even puplic policy, I was
required to do an extensive research to truly understand the scope of the issue at hand. The true
relevance of these publically funded stadiums to the NFL is the fact that there is a huge reliance
on regular ticket sales to generate revenue. The reality is that these individual sports teams do not
generate much economic business. It has been shown that an average sports team in 1994 only
makes about 64 million dollars. Although jobs are being generated, they are often jobs that require
very low skill, which could equate to a very low

Friedrich Nietzsche s Philosophy And Ethics
The Antichrist

May 6, 2016 Abstract: Friedrich Nietzsche devoted his life to the study of philosophy and ethics. In
particular to topics regarding Christianity and Atheism. A majority of his writings are against
Christianity and The Antichrist is no different. The following paper will look into what Nietzsche
wrote in The Antichrist and explore the ethical principles that he proposes and dismisses in this
writing. The Antichrist is a collection of Friedrich Nietzsche writings that were put together by his
niece shortly after his death. She wrote an opening preface before his collection of writings that
explain her desire for publishing the writings and defending his standpoint. In her opening
statements, which were approximately 20% of the entire book, she made some claims about
Nietzsche, his writings, and his beliefs. She states that Nietzsche ...intended to attack Christianity
headlong and with all arms... and that All his wrath... was reserved for St. Paul and his like, who
perverted the Beatitudes which Christ intended for the lowly only. Despite saying this Nietzsche
staid that he never set out to destroy Christianity all together, so that the lowly and unintelligent
would still have an outlet. But to destroy Christianity for the intellectuals and the scholars. Oddly
enough he set out to ...make Paul the villain, and Jesus a bystander. ( After the introduction by his

My School For High School
Years have passed and now I have reached Junior High School. I should be happy because of my
smartness ; I was chosen to go to a special school for student enrichment. However, I am not
happy because the school my mother selected for me is far away from the neighbor, and the
school district where I lived had just built a brand new school within walking distance from my
home; most of my friends are attending there, and I could not understand why my mother chose
to send me across town. However, my mother enrolled me in a different district, which meant I
had to travel either by city bus or walk. The bus trip would take about an hour and the walk was
at least 10 15 miles. My mother had this brainy idea to enroll me in this school for enrichment;
somehow this was supposed to be good for me. It didn t make sense, nor did I care to share her
enthusiasm of starting over in a new learning environment. I was thrust out my comfort zone and
probably would not have protested as much if the change wasn t so drastic. It ll become clearer
what I mean by this. The first day of school was filled with the normal awkwardness; however, it
was also permeated with amplified anxiety as I realize this school was not in a great
neighborhood. Some would call this the hood. I thought I was attending a school for smart people.

street smart and book smart. I am realizing that these two types of people

I decided to write about this constellation, because I ve always been fascinated by wolfs and wanted
to know more about the constellation named after it.
Officially the constellation Lupus doesn t have a myth belonging to it, but it can be based on the
story of the ancient king of Arcadia, king Lycaon. It s said that he ruled Arcadia with his fifty
sons and he still practiced human sacrifice while other parts of Greece declined it as barbaric.
There are two different versions about it: ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Zeus was so angered about it that he transfigured him into a wolf and killed all of his fifty sons
with a lightning.
The other version says that Zeus visited Arcadia disguised as a traveller. Lycaon and his sons
offered him food, a soup made out of the meat of goats and sheep and of his son Nyctimus. Zeus
was disgusted and killed all fifty sons with a lightning bolt, reviving Nyctimus in the process.
My own myth tells the story of an ancient creature, which was only sighted in moments of

Looking For Alaska Challenges
Challenges are a part of everyday life, and they change us in different and unexpected ways. The
theme challenges create change (within individuals) can be a pivotal part of a text. Characters
and people that face challenges have to change their ways of thinking, or even their lives in order
to overcome these challenges. The texts Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, Every Day by David
Levithan, Looking for Alaska by John Greenand Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom all show
how challenges create changein not just one individual but multiple people throughout the texts.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell is a text that has excellent examples of how challenges can create
change. One challenge faced is when Baz s mother comes back from the dead and gives ... Show

In his book, A is a person that moves from body to body every day but never having a body or life
of their own. David Levithan shows us how the challenge of love creates change through Rhiannon
and A. It s as if when you love someone, they become your reason (pg 76). A lets this love define
them, risking other people s lives in order to be with the person they love, even though they
know they shouldn t I know I am not supposed to interfere (pg 127). This shows how A has
changed, because, before A met Rhiannon, they would never have strayed from the daily
routine of another person s body. Now I m letting my life hijack all these other lives for a day. I
am no staying within the parameters. Even if that s dangerous (pg 68). A is also incredibly
challenged by not having their own body and their own life. I am not a part of this and will
never be a part of something like this (pg 268). I can never have these things (pg 302). They
know that they will never be able to have their own friends, their own job or their own life.
Because of this, it is hard for A to find themself. When A was younger it was incredibly difficult
for them to not have a tomorrow, because everyone around them did. This is because instead of
living thinking of the next day, or the next week, or the next month like we do, A lives day to day,
assuming people s personalities and bodies. A s lack of body also

Dominion Of Capital Summary
The book Dominion of Capital: The Politics of Big Business and the Crisis of the Canadian
Bourgeoisie, 1914 1947 was written by 34 year old, Don Nerbas. Nerbas is currently an assistant
professor of History at Cape Breton University with plenty of knowledge in the history of business
elites and capitalism with an emphasis on the history of Atlantic Canada. The credibility that Nerbas
holds is beyond suitable for writing a piece on the history of business in Canada and his PhD in
Canadian History can show for it. Previous publications and journals that Nerbas has produced,

It is said that the beginning of the automobile era was part of the transition coming off the decline
of the Canadian Pacific Railway. As discussed during the course, in the mid 1920 s Canada was
part of a transition moving from Great Britain to the United States of America and this is a great
example to illustrate. Great Britain owned the Canadian Pacific Railway although managed in
Canada and the automobile company; General Motors of Canada was a subsidiary of a United
States company. Canada became the second largest automobile manufacturer in the world far
behind the United States but this helped to create factory jobs that would drive the Canadian
economy up until the recession in the early

The Titanic Blame
The Titanic sunk because of one person and that person is Captain Smith. Smith basically killed
1,503 people when there was enough life jackets for all 2,208 people. In the morning 300 more
people were pulled out of the sea.Captain smith is the one that is responsible for the sinking of
the Titanic because he ignored calls for help, ignored the ice warnings, and he was sleeping on
the job. It might seem that Smith is not responsible because the captain never learned the Morse
code, however he did ignore the ice warnings. As a captains job he should be responsible to learn
the Morse code before he sails or steers a ship that way if there was a accident he could send
Morse code for himself. According to ultimate Titanic.com for

The Effects Of Long Term Meditation Practices On The...
Abstract Substantial research has been done on the positive effects of long term meditation
practices on the promotion of cognitive functions. However, the effects of brief meditation practices
have not been as thoroughly researched. Accordingly, this study will further investigate the effects
of short term mindfulness based training (MT) on the multiple traits of attentional processing. I
hypothesize that brief MT can have similar results to that of long term practices, indicating that
meta cognition can be improved in a short period of time. This experimental study will compare a
MT group, a relaxation group, and a control group all made up of inexperienced participants on
their performance of higher order processing of attentional tasks. We predict that the MT group will
do better than the other groups on all tests administered, and that they will improve significantly
compared to their previous performance.
Key words: Meditation, Mindfulness, Meta cognition, Attention
Introduction
Many recent studies have validated that people who have practiced mindfulness based training and
/or meditation express greater cognitive flexibility. Mindfulness is a psychological state
characterized by full attention to a present experience without elaboration of thought or emotional
reactivity while focusing on the sensations of one s breath and body and maintaining relaxation.
Thus, MT heightens meta cognitive processing to an extent (Austin, 1998 as found in Zeidan,

A Poetic Analysis Of Loose Lips By Kimya Dawson
My main focus of my blog entries have focused around generational disconnect and music.
Before I move any further, though, I feel that I must define generational disconnect as it is a
blanket term and can mean a variety of things depending on the context. The definition I will use
is: being unable to relate to the two current generations and the inability to work together to
solve problems. The song I chose to analyze is Loose Lips by Kimya Dawson. I think this song
really connects with how lost the millennial generation feels, as if we are hanging on by a frayed
cord. Right now we are on the cusp of adult hood. In fact, the older millennial are facing it now.
Often, I think, millennials feel as though baby boomers expect us to be adults but... Show more

That is a byproduct of my personality, my family environment, and my generation. As a
millennial, and I am proud to call myself one, I can recognize that we are a stubborn bunch. We
want to fix the problems in our country, but we want it our way or the high way. I don t know
how many times, on the Internet, people have been celebrating a break through and people
attack them because they should not be celebrating with so much hate existing in the world. For
example, when the marriage equality decision was finalized, people were celebrating. Then
other millenials would cyber attack them because the LGBTQA community is still facing
oppression and we cant celebrate until it is all eradicated. As Dawson writes my war paint is
sharpie ink, and I ll show you how much my shit stink, and I think that is a very powerful line.
For one, it helps exemplify how millenials cannot ever be happy in the moment, but it also shows
a generational shift. People have always protested what they disapproved of, but in today s day
and age, we can do that instantly with the click of a button. We connect over social media. Call me
up before your dead, we can make some plans instead, send me an IM, I ll be your friend. We use
social media as a political platform, but we also use it to be alone together, as previously

Essay on Self Harm
Introduction Deliberate self harm is a term that covers a wide range of behaviours some of which
are directly related to suicide and some are not. This is a relatively common behaviour that is little
understood. This essay provides an overview of the nature and extent of those most at risk of self
harm, including causes and risk factors. Examining some of the stereotyping that surrounds self
harm, and looking at ways in which self harm can be prevented.
A useful definition of self harm is from Professor Keith Hawton (Hawton et al., 2006. p29). An act
with a non fatal outcome in which an individual deliberately did one or more of the following;
Initiated behaviour (e.g. self cutting, jumping from a height), which they ... Show more content on

Research clearly indicates a link between self harm and sexual abuse in childhood and was
particularly marked in women who had been subjected to severe, frequent abuse. Further studies
confirmed that the more severe, more prolonged, or a longer duration of sexual abuse was
associated with an increased risk of engaging in self harm as an adult. Marginalization may also
be the explanation for the high risk of self harm in gay, bisexual, transsexual teenagers who are 2
to 3 times more likely to self harm than heterosexual young people, this groups results in regular
absenteeism at school due to homophobic harassment. 50% of those reported bullied at school had
contemplated self harm, 40% of those had self harmed at least once. A survey in 2000 to 2002
interviewed 2,430 lesbian women, gay men and bisexual men and women in England and Wales
and concluded that there is a greater link between discrimination and mental health issues. (Truth
Hurts, Mental Health Foundation 2006). Asian women aged 15 to 35 are two to three times more
vulnerable to self harm than their non Asian counterparts. Research revealed a complex range of
disturbing issues, isolation, despair, many forms of family abuse, conflicts between generations,
with many reporting unrealistic pressures of rigid matrimonial roles and duties in maintaining

Protostar Nuclear Fusion
Just like humans, everything in the universe has a purpose. From the beginning of the moment
anything is created into existence it grows and fulfills its purpose. Stars are no different. Every
day, stars are created by gravity which pulls the star together, the star builds up heat and pressure,
and then fusion begins. The process in which a stargoes through is known as a star s life cycle. All
stars start at the basic nebula phase, change to a protostar, and go on to the main sequence star
phase. After the main sequence star phase, there are two different divisions that are determined
by the mass of the star. If a star is known as a low mass star it will have different life changes than a
high mass star. A low mass star will become a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A white dwarf is the leftover core of a planetary nebula. A white dwarf is a low mass star that is
virtually dead. Since it is a leftover core it is extremely dense. Inside of a white dwarf, no fusion
takes place. The white dwarf will continue to give off light for about 20 million years and is
theorized that it will then become a black dwarf. As of now, no black dwarfs have been
discovered, simply because the universe is too young. A black dwarf gives off no light and is
also cold, compared to the other stars in their life cycles. These black and white dwarfs burn
through their fuel very slowly, which would be why they last for millions of

How Does Peekay Overcome Racism

Irrationality of Racism
Have you ever experienced racism before? If you did, how did you deal with it? Racism can be a
very hard thing to defend against especially at a very young age. Will you allow them to insult you
without retaliation? Will you fight back and try to deal with the racism yourself, or would you
pretend to be one of the racists to prevent persecution like Peekay? In the book The Power of
One by Bryce Courtenay, Peekay faces racism because he is a rooinek (also known as a rednecks
)and because of his hatless snake . To defend himself against these harsh irrationalities, he chooses
to camouflage himself. Embarking on his journey on life, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

good in people. Doc plays a major part of The Power of One. Not only does he educate Peekay to

really can be. I myself has also been in Peekay s situation when I was discriminated because I
was Asian. Picture a handful of crayons, they may all have different colors, but they are all still
the same. Most importantly, they all do the same job of coloring or drawing a picture. All in all,
if you are ever discriminated in life, do not be ashamed of who you are. Embrace the fact you are

Erdrich is fiction. Autobiographical is more compelling because it based on actual event. Whereas,
fictional stories are more about imaginary people along with an event. Mary Crow Dog. In her

The primary purpose of a story focused on the destructive impact of war on the people especially
the one who server in battle. War is in Vietnam that a Boy name Henry served. He got imprisoned
for three years in Vietnam. After that, he could come back home to his other sibling which they
were waiting for him. Henry did not have the emotional stability that he used to have before the
going to war. This is the point that Erdrich points it out very clearly is her short story. The audience
can be realized the purpose of her story while she is reading throughout the story. For instance, at
the beginning of the story, Henry with his brother Lyman bought the Red convertible. They were
a very happy family that they made a road trip with their in the summer as Erdrich wrote We d
made most of the trip, without putting up the car hood at all. We got home just in time (327). She
could have addressed that Henry was the active and happy person before going to war.
1. Is the writer trying to entertain or to educate?
Edrich entertains the audience with her book. However, the book is education people in so
many ways. She described an American Native family. The reason perhaps is that because she is
half an American Native from her mother side. She used her heritage to develop her characters so
that her characters in the books which are also Native American are also are real. Thus, when
something is real people get educated maybe not in a direct way, but it can be the indirect way.

The Geological Formation Of Kangaroo Point Cliffs
Kangaroo Point Cliffs are one of the most iconic places that highlight Brisbane city s history
along with the Brisbane City Hall and Story Bridge. These cliffs were known by Aborigines even
before European settlers arrived in Brisbane. The development around the Kangaroo Point Cliff
was started in the 1900s when roads were developed around the cliff. Today, the Kangaroo Point
Cliff offers many adventurous activities such as rock climbing, kayaking on the BrisbaneRiver,
Segway tours, bike riding around the garden etc. The rocks found on these steep cliffs are
known as the Brisbane Tuff . These unique pink and green stones were also used in building
public buildings during the 1820s and 1830s. The very steep feature and gas holes on the cliff
plays a significant role in identifying these cliffs a result of a volcanic eruption (Visit Brisbane,
2018). This essay analyses geological formation of Kangaroo Point cliff and the Brisbane tuff which

  • 2. Analysis Of AmГ©lie AmГ©lie is a 2001, French romantic comedy set in Montmartre, Paris, France during the late 1990s. The film follows AmГ©lie as she wanders through the city, and portrays a variety of perspectives on daily life in the city. The film is set in and around iconic areas of Paris, France, where viewers are given glimpses of classical French architecture and landmarks. This essay will argue that the film AmГ©lie portrays daily Parisian life through a romanticized lens. This essay will offer discussion on how the film provides a commentary on urban life in Paris. The following paragraphs will offer a discussion on the portrayal of the city, the reasoning for these portrayals, how they might affect the audience and how such portrayals impact one s... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What is important to consider is what is missing from this representation of the city. Jean Pierre Jeunet is the director of the film, he is quoted as saying, I wanted to make a fake Paris, a very nice Paris, like in my head when I was twenty and I arrived in Paris for the first time. I wanted to avoid the bad things: traffic jams, dog shit on the street, the rain (Portegies, 2010, p. 55). What AmГ©lie projects is simply a cinematic version of Paris (Durham, 2008, p. 178). Jeunet was criticized for this depiction of Paris, which appeared to erase, as if by magic, all traces of graffiti, crime, pollution, and social unrest (Ezra, 2004, p. 301). The film s setting used more than eighty separate locations, and is, so vetted and filtered that the manufactured Paris scape resembles little more than a sustained advertisement for a traditional French product (Portegies, 2010, p. 56). This romanticized version of Paris is then exacerbated by the traditionally associated French clichГ©s which are present throughout the film. Thus, AmГ©lie seeks to contrast the dark and gritty imaginings of the city and instead make it an attractive place to be. Jeunet s contemporary Paris, creates astonishing adventures out of the everyday life. For some, this reimagining of the city erases the experiences and lives of actual people within the city. The focus of the film does not give the viewer an honest ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. How Food Waste Management Is Implemented On A Local Scale... Waste is seen as a sign of human success, where the more waste that is generated the wealthier the human population is (Bulkeley, H et al 2009). The world produces enough food to provide for twice the number of the present population which is ironic looking at the global number of malnourished people. Politically, the more we buy the better our economy will be, but finding the balance between economic development and environmental sustainabilityis key to extending the social, cultural and economic lives of things (Bulkeley, H et al 2009). Downs (1972) states that environmental problems have a life cycle where there is an increase in people becoming motivated to make a change, but as time goes on they lose interest and abandon all effort (Eden, S 2005). In this essay we will look at how the human population needs to take responsible actions to help humanity and the environment. The John McIntyre Conference Center is an example used to show how food waste management is implemented on a local scale. It shows how much food waste Edinburgh University students discarded without taking into consideration the future health and environmental hazards. The JMCC have taken steps to ensure a level of education regarding food waste for the students and staff, as well as investing in improved policies and equipment to limit wastage. We then go one step further and look at how the Scottish Government has implemented sustainable policies for Edinburgh households and their effectiveness. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Medical Marijuan Controlled Substance Abuse (NIDA) Introduction Marijuana is classified as a Schedule I substance under the US federal Drug Scheduling system created by the Controlled Substances Act of 1970 (CSA), which indicates that the substance has a high potential for abuse and no approved medicinal use. This policy has the support of several propionate organizations such as the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the American Medical Association (AMA) (Office of National Drug Control Policy 2014). Despite these facts, Medical Marijuana is currently legal in 23 States and the District of Columbia (23 Legal Medial Marijuana States and DC 2014). • 8. The Peloponnesian As A Noble Empire Thucydides believes war teaches that although humans are able to strive to a high standard of civilization conflict will bring human s downfall to chaos. Homer, however, depicts humanity as often failing to reach their standards, but having empathy in the end. Athens introduces itself in The History of the Peloponnesian as a noble empire. The Athenians state that We consider that we are worthy of our power (HPW, 76) to argue that although Athens took power they have done nothing wrong since they still consider justice in affairs with their subjects instead of using force (HPW, 80). This impromptu speech of the Athenians in Sparta shows the values of the polis. This was not a planned speech or even an embassy of the state yet they still spoke of justice, consideration for the weak, and thoughtful decision making. These are the standards that Athens held itself to before the war. Thucydides includes this speech to give a reference point for the following events. The values of culture, art, and philosophy are communicated through Pericles during the Funeral Oration. Pericles praises Athens as a model to others and an education to Greece for its democracy, speeches, equality, and individuality (Discussion, Sept 12). These key elements are fundamental to Christ s teachings and also reflect my own worldview. These four elements are an integral part of a Christian believer s life and defines our relationship with God. The fourth element, Living in Christ, is comprised of many sub elements like praise, prayer, and bearing witness. Man created in the image of God has remnants of his character which includes the capability to love, a reason of a high level, and communicate with God. Man was also created with a sense of justice and morality. However, sin also resides in our nature and led to the fall of Adam and Eve. Humanity was created to love as God loves, to worship and praise his glory and commune with him as he does with us. However, much of humanity is overly concerned with their own self serving, self centered agenda which is a form of idolatry. Many individuals worship whatever their life is ordered around, failing to see it in the light of the glory of God. Humanity relentlessly departs from the path God had intended for them. True ... They carefully select the area, their target and how they approach the situation with the most beneficial outcome. In Walter Rodney s essay, How Europe Underdeveloped , he discusses how Europe underdeveloped Africa and those repercussions. Africa s circumstances in the early 1900 s are similar to the water privatization movement. Rodney states, The combination of being oppressed, being exploited, and being disregarded is best illustrated by the pattern of the economic infrastructure of African colonies notably, their roads and railways (110). Although history has a reputation for repeating itself, some people also believe you can t predict the future. Many people believe you can t predict the future. • 16. The Character Of Diana In The New Woman George Meredith s 1885 Diana of the Crossways accounts the charming and witty titular heroine through her miserable marriage and the subsequent fallout. Although Diana is based on polemicist Caroline Norton s own disastrous marriage and divorce scandal, Meredith s protagonist borders between New Woman themes and Victorian feminine ideals, as Diana does not damningly deviates from the latter. In this essay, I will explore how Meredith has rendered the character of Diana palatable for upper and middle class Victorian readers by comparing her to her real life counterpart, to Thomas Hardys portrayal of the New Womanand his issues with publication and how Meredith s characterization has created an archetypical character thereby allowing for critical and commercial success. The New Woman was a feminist ideal used to describe an independent, educated, and self reliant woman who typically would push the limits of the male dominated society. While Meredith has come to be remembered as a friend to women s plight for his sympathetic depiction of women in his novels, he has taken certain liberties to convey Diana as digestible as possible to his audience rather than realistically or particularly liberated. In a time in which women were expected to get married not that marriagewas meant to satisfy their emotional or sexual needs Caroline Norton is often described as being pushed into marriage to George Norton. Caroline Norton and her sisters had come to be known as the Graces , an allusion to the Greek goddesses of charm, beauty, and human creativity, for their own beauty and accomplishments. For this, George Norton was willing to accept her without a dowry. Meredith s Diana abruptly enters her engagement after having her best friend s husband demonstrate sexual interest in her. In a letter to her best friend, she states, Signify your approval, for I have decided that it is the wisest thing a waif can do [marriage]. (Meredith 54) This slight narrative alteration presents Diana sympathetically to the audience as a woman seeking male protection, a very proper action a Victorian woman should make. The action seems sensible if not laudable, which will only garner sympathy for Diana later on once it is revealed what ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is a dig at a common superstition held by motorists in India. Motorists there often ties woven hair to car bumpers as a talisman for their safety. In fact, it would not be a surprise if these motorists actually place more belief in this talisman than the need for regular servicing to their vehicles. The following paper will look into what Nietzsche wrote in The Antichrist and explore the ethical principles that he proposes and dismisses in this writing. In her opening statements, which were approximately 20% of the entire book, she made some claims about Nietzsche, his writings, and his beliefs. She states that Nietzsche ...intended to attack Christianity headlong and with all arms... and that All his wrath... was reserved for St. Paul and his like, who perverted the Beatitudes which Christ intended for the lowly only. Despite saying this Nietzsche staid that he never set out to destroy Christianity all together, so that the lowly and unintelligent would still have an outlet. But to destroy Christianity for the intellectuals and the scholars. Oddly enough he set out to ...make Paul the villain, and Jesus a bystander. • 37. My School For High School Years have passed and now I have reached Junior High School. I should be happy because of my smartness ; I was chosen to go to a special school for student enrichment. However, I am not happy because the school my mother selected for me is far away from the neighbor, and the school district where I lived had just built a brand new school within walking distance from my home; most of my friends are attending there, and I could not understand why my mother chose to send me across town. However, my mother enrolled me in a different district, which meant I had to travel either by city bus or walk. The bus trip would take about an hour and the walk was at least 10 15 miles. My mother had this brainy idea to enroll me in this school for enrichment; somehow this was supposed to be good for me. It didn t make sense, nor did I care to share her enthusiasm of starting over in a new learning environment. I was thrust out my comfort zone and probably would not have protested as much if the change wasn t so drastic. It ll become clearer what I mean by this. The first day of school was filled with the normal awkwardness; however, it was also permeated with amplified anxiety as I realize this school was not in a great neighborhood. Some would call this the hood. I thought I was attending a school for smart people. Now I am getting the meaning of some of my early teachings that there are two types of smart; street smart and book smart. I am realizing that these two types of people ... It s located in the southern sky and was one of the 48 constellations, which were listed by Ptolemy, a second century astronomer. Previously it was an asterism associated with its neighbour constellation Centaurus, but belongs to the now 88 official constellations. It has nine main stars, 41 Bayer stars and five stars with planets. Lupus is surrounded by six different constellations: Hydra, Scorpius, Norma, Circinus, Libra and Centaurus. I decided to write about this constellation, because I ve always been fascinated by wolfs and wanted to know more about the constellation named after it. Officially the constellation Lupus doesn t have a myth belonging to it, but it can be based on the story of the ancient king of Arcadia, king Lycaon. A lets this love define them, risking other people s lives in order to be with the person they love, even though they know they shouldn t I know I am not supposed to interfere (pg 127). • 46. The Effects Of Long Term Meditation Practices On The... Abstract Substantial research has been done on the positive effects of long term meditation practices on the promotion of cognitive functions. However, the effects of brief meditation practices have not been as thoroughly researched. Accordingly, this study will further investigate the effects of short term mindfulness based training (MT) on the multiple traits of attentional processing. I hypothesize that brief MT can have similar results to that of long term practices, indicating that meta cognition can be improved in a short period of time. This experimental study will compare a MT group, a relaxation group, and a control group all made up of inexperienced participants on their performance of higher order processing of attentional tasks. We predict that the MT group will do better than the other groups on all tests administered, and that they will improve significantly compared to their previous performance. Key words: Meditation, Mindfulness, Meta cognition, Attention Introduction Many recent studies have validated that people who have practiced mindfulness based training and /or meditation express greater cognitive flexibility. Mindfulness is a psychological state characterized by full attention to a present experience without elaboration of thought or emotional reactivity while focusing on the sensations of one s breath and body and maintaining relaxation. Thus, MT heightens meta cognitive processing to an extent (Austin, 1998 as found in Zeidan, Johnson, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The definition I will use is: being unable to relate to the two current generations and the inability to work together to solve problems. The song I chose to analyze is Loose Lips by Kimya Dawson. I think this song really connects with how lost the millennial generation feels, as if we are hanging on by a frayed cord. Right now we are on the cusp of adult hood. The process in which a stargoes through is known as a star s life cycle. All stars start at the basic nebula phase, change to a protostar, and go on to the main sequence star phase.
