Introduction
From ancient times,our ancestors
looked our beautyful sky, wondering
how magnificient it is…Human has
the inborn nature to put the
footprint beyond his capacity . From
beginning they tried to reach the
sky . Possessing the genetic bluprint
from our ancestors , today we find
the way to explore the beyond our
planet, beyond our sky even beyond
our capacity.
5.
To explore solar
system,
Andsustain human
race beyond our
Planet Earth, our
new hope and
future new home is
Mars
6.
In Brief aboutour new home
To ancient Romans,
the planet Mars
was ‘God of War’ ,
symbolic to blood
and wars.
But today , the red
planet is bright
future of humanity.
7.
The story ofMars began
about 4.5 billion years ago,
when gas and dust
murged to create the 4th
planet of the solar system.
Mars is the second
smallest planet in our
solar system, infact its
entire surface area is as
much as all the continent
of Earth combined
8.
Mars is denseand has
rocky composition. Its
dry, cold, with -153 deg.
Centigrade temperature.
Its core is at centre
and is made of Iron,
Nickle and Sulphar.
Its crust is Iron, and
this Iron reacts with the
trace amount of Oxygen
in the atmosphere
giving the Planet its
signature Red looking.
9.
About 3.5 billions
yearsago Mars was
more geologically
active, more warmer,
watery surface.
Nile Fossae
indicating liquid
water floating over
it.
Water in the red
planet still exists
today mostly as
polar ice caps
10.
‘Mons Olympus ‘
isthe largest
volcano in the
solar system. It is
three times
higher than
Mount Everest in
the Earth.
11.
Difficulty and Challengesin our potential
new home
Temperature:: 20 degree to -153 degree Celcius
Its intense cold, may cause frost bite within minutes
Soil is covered by like gun powder
No breathable air. Mostly CO2 (98%), very little Oxygen
Solar and other cosmic radiation
Mars has no magnetic field
Heavy Martian dust storm just like our desesrt storm
Low atmospheric pressure
No N2, difficult to grow plant
12.
Jouney to ournew home
Human race beyond Earth
Ways of Journey
Space X has builded
Starship which can be safe
cargo ship from Earth to Mars
Gravity assisted slingshot
from Earth or Venus can be
helpful .
Nuclear power thrust than
solid or liquid fuel rockets.
Antemeter drive
Wrap drive
13.
To Sustain inMars , man can follow two
ways
Creating home
within the
fascilities
Or Terraforming
the Planet
14.
Creating house withinthe facilities
Pressurised house
under the surface
Genetically
modified plants within
the Shed
Always spaceshoot
outside the shed.
Interconnected
tunnels under the
rocky crust
15.
Creating house continue……
Retriving water
from polar Ice caps
Making water
shield above the
house to protect
from cosmic
radiation
Stablish internal
water and food
cycle
16.
Terraforming the Mars
(The ultimate solution)
Very much exciting and fascinating progamme
Goals of Terraforming::::
Creating warmer environment.
Creating thicker atmosphere.
Bringing O2 and N2 in the atmosphere.
Bringing water, river, and sea.
Making artificial magnetic field
Protection from solar and galactic
radiation
17.
Terraforming
Phase 1
40starship fire nuclear
missiles at south and north
pole.
Far above the
atmosphere, causing 2 Suns
in 2 poles
Increasing Tm in polar
reagn causing polar Ice
melting and thickening of
atmosphere.
Tearraforming first occurs
in the warmest reasign near
the equater and vallies.
18.
Terraforming
Phase 1
Liquid waterstarts
to appear in the
surface.
Water evaporates ,
CO2 melting causing
more thicker
atmosphere.
More thicker
atmosphere causing
more trapping of
heat.
19.
Terraforming
Phase 1
This phasecan be
run by advanced
artificial inteligency
and robotic
technology.
And this can be
done with current
technology of the
Earth
20.
Terraforming
Phase 2
Tm morerises,
underground water
becomes melting, creating
lakes.
Evapouration of water
causing clouds and rain.
All these things will
stablish a perfect water
cycle which is very
essential to sustain
human life.
21.
Terraforming
Phase 2
Undergroundmelting of
water and water cycle creates
first ocean to re- appear which
has been lost once.
After fully Terraforming ,
ocean will be
1.6 km deep and covering
about 20% of surface area of
red planet.
one giant ocean at northern
pole and dry land at south
pole .
Terraforming
Phase 3
Planetery Nuclearfusion
reactor in 2 poles will be
started.
Super conducting cables
will wrape whole Mars
just like our internet
cables in Earth. This will
make artificial magnetic
field to the planet.
..Its called loop project
causing blocking of solar
and cosmic radiation.
25.
Terraforming
Phase 2
Green aurorawill be
seen in poles of the
planet.
More N2 and Ice comets
will be harvested from
asteroid and kepler belt
sorrounding the solar
system.
This will add more N2
and water to the
Environment.
26.
Phase 3
The Planetwill be
now habitable to
complex life form…
Like plants,
animals, humans
etc.
Biological
engneered Plants
and animals can be
grown.
27.
Space X andNASA
has the ambition to
make the manned
mission in the Mars
in near future
within 2035.
If it occurs, this will
be greatest
achievement of
human ever in
history.
28.
To become a
Kardshevescale 2
civilization , human
must have to
colonize other
rocky planets in the
solar system.
Days are coming
and not so far away
from us for this
achievement.
29.
Conclusion
Life inthe Earth is very much
vulneable.
We are not protected from
galactical events.. Like supernova
explosion, asteroid hit, and even
volcanic erruption.
A just 500m asteroid weeped
out dinosors from this Earth 66
millions years ago.
30.
Conclusion Continued
• Tosustain human race, to protect from
extinction we must have to find a way out to
sustain human life and race outside the Earth.
• For this reason Mars will be our second home
in future.
