HUMAN RIGHTS DAY – 10TH DECEMBER • GENERAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (GDHR) • December 10, 1948 - The UN General Assembly adopted the GDHR, which can be considered the most important document on human rights • 0n the day of the declaration we commemorate the INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY every year • The basic (30) articles of the declaration list basic civil, political, cultural, economic and social rights which apply to all people in the world • Although the Declaration is binding on all countries of the world, even today at the beginning of the 21st century, its individual articles are not observed everywhere in the world and therefore it is necessary to commemorate Human Rights Day and fight for their observance.
