• Loaded legacy COAs from each system plus future COA based on SAP
• Utilized a “COA Mapping” viewpoint in EDM as a hybrid view to bring together legacy and future COA’s from both companies
and multiple sets of legacy systems
• Used this viewpoint to map legacy GL accounts from JDE and HFM into go-forward SAP accounts
• Leveraging side-by-side display, comparison, and drag-and-drop features of EDM
• Provided a visual and centralized “sand box” to collaborate and finalize COA during real-time, remote working sessions
• Leveraged subscriptions with filters to synchronize EPBCS and FCCS hierarchies from COA Mapping
• Synchronize “standard” COA structures for EPBCS/FCCS while excluding legacy accounts and mappings that do not
belong in EPBCS/FCCS

• Don’t wait until the COA is finalized to introduce EDM; use EDM to get there!
