characters which are little guy, Guy, and Lili. Now little guy starts preparing for the play he was going
to be in, which has some lines which seem to always get to his father Guy. Why did Guy get into the

Attack on the Marine Corps Barracks in Beirut Section I On October 23, 1983, a massive explosion
from a 19 ton truck full of explosives attacked military barracks and killed 241 servicemen (including
220 U.S. Marines) in Beirut, Lebanon. The blast was the biggest known non nuclear explosion since
World War II and was the bloodiest day since Iowa Jima, according to Rick Hampson writing in USA
Today. The Marines had been sent to Lebanon as peace keepers, trying to bring some peace to a civil
war that was ongoing in Lebanon. Military observers subsequent to that horrific event have suggested
that this terrorist assault was the beginning of the reign of terror that radical Islamic would continue to
perpetrate on Americans through the next twenty years. Hampson explains that the bloody attack on
American servicemen was ...a seminal moment on a timeline that led to the 9/11 attacks, to the war the

Understanding Schizophrenia and Psychosis
Schizophrenia and Psychotherapy Schizophrenia is a psychiatric disorder differentiated by
degeneration of thought processes and of emotional reaction. It is characterized by auditory
hallucinations, delusions, or disorganized speech and thought process along with considerable social
or occupational dysfunction. Onset of symptoms is usually during early adulthood. Diagnosis is based
on DSM IV criteria for diagnosis of Schizophrenia (PubMed, 2010). It mainly affects the cognition
but behavior and emotion can also be involved. Schizophrenics can have certain coexisting conditions
such as major depression and anxiety disorders. These cognitive, emotional and behavioral problems
can lead to secondary problems like unemployment, academic difficulties and social issues.
Schizophrenics have higher tendency to suicide than general population which makes their life
expectancy 15 years less than the general population. The average life expectancy of people with the
disorder is 12 to 15 years less than those without, the result of increased physical health problems and
a higher suicide rate (about 5%). Following are the classification of Schizophrenia according to DSM
IV Manual Paranoid type: delusions, hallucinations without affecting the thought behavior, and

is through observation and experimentation. It is not concerned with internal thoughts like thinking,

Classical conditioning is defined as a learning process where two stimuli are repeatedly paired and
eventually a response originally elicited by the just the second stimuli is elicited beforehand by the
first stimuli.
Classical conditioning theory involves learning a new behavior via the process of association. In
simple terms two stimuli are linked together to produce a new learned response in a person or animal.
There are three stages of classical conditioning. At each stage the stimuli and responses are given
special scientific terms.
Before Conditioning:
In this stage, the unconditioned stimulus produces an unconditioned response in an organism. In basic
terms, this means that a stimulus in the environment has produced a behavior / response which is
unlearned (i.e. unconditioned) and therefore is a natural response which has not been taught. In this
respect no new behavior has been learned yet.
During Conditioning:
During this stage a stimulus which produces no response (i.e. neutral) is associated with the
unconditioned stimulus at which point it now becomes known as the conditioned stimulus.

It should not take an hour and a half to reschedule and fix your day of work. A good manager should
be able to manage running their business without calling in a temp or make sure for a day that calls for
extra people they have extra just in case someone does call out. When I worked retail I saw this first

Political socialization is a concept that shows the development of children and adolescents who attain
political cognition, attitudes, and behaviors. Political socialization routinely begins in children. There
are multiple factors that influence the political socialization of citizens. Research theorizes that family

The Great Depression
The only thing we have to fear is fear itself, is a famous quote once said during the Great Depression
by Franklin D. Roosevelt. After one world war, great financial fallout, and another world war to
follow, the twentieth century was already shaping out to be a handful. When the Great Depression was
coming to an end and the economy was trying to turn around, jobs started opening up and a new wave
of immigrants came into New York, the Puerto Ricans. For some the American dream was to come to
America and start a new life, but for others already here, it was about making it big in show business.
West Side Story , a twentieth century musical, was greatly influenced by the immigration during that
time.
Before West Side Story was written, there were some major events that occurred. For instance, in
1914 America entered WWI. Then in 1920, women were given the right to vote and women s suffrage

followed, causing massive economic downfall to the United States. Families during that time were
very poor, but millions still went to watch films at local theaters (Unstend 12). One technological
