Gentrification is the process of renovating and improving a neighborhood so that it can be more

is responsible for the displacement of families who can t afford to live in the gentrified area
anymore due to the price of rent being dramatically increased. Landlords tend to raise rent to cast
out low income renters and make room for higher income renters who are looking to move into
the neighborhood. Some of the lower class residents who are basically forced out of their homes
tend to move in with relatives, search for a place to go in one of the city s remaining cheap
areas, and can even go homeless if they have no family, friends, or anywhere to go. The
gentrification of a neighborhood can bring the neighborhood down as a whole. It changes the
neighborhood in a negative way. The many families who were displaced and driven out by the
gentrification process took the great qualities which make the neighborhood a whole with them.
The feeling of friendliness in the community was driven out with its old residents. You used to be
able to walk down the street and see five or six people you knew to have a nice conversation about
sports or the weather with turning a five minute trip to the supermarket into a 30 minute trip. This

One must truly understand what artificial intelligence is in order to assess its usefulness in society.

First, the artist, Kerry James Marshall, is of African American ethnicity. Modernism art is seen as
white, male dominated, and uninterested in minorities where as POMO switches to more feminist
and minority artists. Marshall uses the post modernist approach of identity politics through the
representation of an African American in a police uniform rather than drawing a Caucasian
officer. The artist also uses codes. This is displayed through the badge the officer is wearing. The
badge is an identifier; every officer wears one but each badge is specific to one officer. The badge
is symbolic of uniqueness and individuality which helps reinforce the artist s theme. The number
written on the badge is not easily determined in the portrait. The artist s description verbalizes the
reasoning for creating the portrait. Marshall states the portrait was a response to the many African
Americans killed by armed policemen throughout the United States. The previously stated is an
example of POMO because current events influenced the creation of the artwork. Several aspects
previously mentioned reinforce the theme of gender and racial

An Analysis Of The Battle Of Saratoga
The Battle of Saratoga was the most difficult thing Benedict Arnold went through in all his
impossible journeys. Arnold was on his horse and charged right in the line of fire through 120
yards of people shooting at him without getting shot. You have to be very brave, or very stupid to
do that when he could have just took a little bit longer and went behind the people shooting.
Another crazy thing that Arnold did that made it difficult was he led an attack that he had ВЅ as
many soldiers as the British did. Even with being badly outnumbered by the British, and having a
shattered leg, he kept ordering his men. After being crushed by his horse, Ben yelled, Rush on, my
brave boys, rush on encouraging his men to continue the fight without him.

Visual Media Every now and again there are historical moments of human triumphs, which can only
be captured within that moment, to fully express the human response, by the hurried positioning
and click of a camera. Such is the moment when a NASA photographer captured a picture of the
News Horizon s Science Team examining the sharpest imageof Pluto before the Horizon s
spacecraft was to make an even closer approach later in the day, on July 14, 2015 (Ingalls, 2015).
The image appeared on Reuters U.S. web edition, and was distributed via Twitter, with a link
attached to even more images of Pluto captured over the several days preceding this image This

He would have probably been able to find better angles if he tested different angles in the room
prior to this event. Perhaps the tables could have been moved back further to the right of the
picture to allow a clearer picture of Pluto and the scientist s reactions. He could have perhaps
moved down a few more feet to his right to get a clearer shot as well, but it is difficult to know
what obstacles might have been in the way when he took this photo. Nevertheless, I am very
