watched the pipe organ recital performed by organist Kim Hee Sung. The recital
lasted about 2 hours and Kim Hee Sung performed three pieces which were My
Young Life Hath an End , Symphony No.2 in E minor, Op.20 and The Carnival of
the Animals . I listened to the whole recital with full interest as Kim Hee Sung
performed all of these songs beautifully and confidently. The very first song she
played was P. Sweelinick s My Young Life Hath an End which was written in the
year of 1562 1621. When the organist played this song I found the overall melody
of this piece was a bit dark and had sad feeling. The tempo was slow to medium
pace and mostly was played softly with mostly in low tone notes. As I listened to
this song I could imagine that the composer tried to represent his feeling of losing
his beautiful and memorable youth. Therefore, it seems that Sweelnickat has
composed this piece, so he can express to his audience that losing youth is painful

of the same gender of themselves. However, some people denied the idea of it since
they believe it is going against the law of nature and violating certain beliefs and
traditions. LGBT people have faced injustice and discrimination and have been
fighting for their rights for decades to overcome prejudice against them which they
have finally received in 2015.
LGBT individuals has remained largely silent and unseen in American culture until
World War II ended. Many of them hid their unusual sexual orientation from the
society out of shame and fear. Gays who lived in cities often formed close social
networks with other gays while remaining a hidden subculture. During the 1940s
and 1950s, LGBT Americans earned many freedoms they had not previously
received. Their presence became more free flowing but still not widely accepted. In
the middle of 1950s, discrimination against LGBT individuals started to expand,

The documentary the 16th man tells the story of the South African rugby team
winning the 1995 World Cup during a time when racial equality was a major issue.
The whites were in power in the country of South Africa and judging others based
simply by their skin color. According to the video blacks outnumbered whites 6 to 1,
but still did not have the right to vote as the whites had complete control. Both sides
were at odds with each other fueled by anger and unjustified resentment. Then when
