This document presents a metaphorical framework for improving speech. It describes seven "villains" that lead to bad speech: gossip, judging, negativity, complaining, excuses, exaggeration, and dogmatism. These villains can be fought with the help of four "friends": honesty, authenticity, integrity, and love. Five "weapons" can also be used: timbre, register, prosody, pace, and volume. By fighting the villains with friends and weapons, the "hero" can develop a powerful, conscious, and well-received speech. The overall message is that mindfully working on voice, tone, and content can improve one's communication skills.
