7.  PRE-OPERATIVE PROCEDURE (Before the Surgery)

8. • Wear Surgery gown.
• Patients need to be administered General anaesthesia by injection
and inhalation mask.
• Shave the chest region and area of the body from which graft vessels
will be removed.
• Apply a anti-septic solution and place a sterile drape around the
operative site.
• Incision at those points like leg, chest etc from where the blood vessel
has been taken will be sutured.

9. STEP – 1: Vertical Incision on the center of the chest.

10. STEP-2: Pull back skin & tissue, expose breastbone

12. STEP-4: Incision in the peri-cardium of the heart.
