Sneha Challa gave a presentation on introducing programming to children. Her niece asked if she could learn programming to buy toys, and Sneha told her niece to listen to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" instead of being naughty. Prior to programming, Sneha studied at school and learned from books and online tutorials, including learning Java from a book by Stephen Roehrig. To introduce a 5-year old to programming, Sneha used a mouse and cheese puzzle activity. She discussed debugging programs when "bugs creep in" and conveyed complex programming concepts based on a class by Professor Chris Labash on explaining complexity.
