Media and mixed media works allow artists to incorporate video, photography, performance, and digital elements to engage viewers in new ways. This document discusses the development and progression of amyloid diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease. While extensive research has been conducted on each disease, questions still remain about how and why amyloid forms and spreads in the body. As scientists continue their work, they sometimes end up with more questions than answers from their results, which is not necessarily a negative outcome as it can lead to new avenues of investigation. The goal is to further understand the "how and why" of amyloid formation and progression in order to discover treatments and preventions for these diseases.
