Public speaking is many people's number one fear, even more than death. To give an effective presentation, speakers should speak confidently and slowly while making eye contact and using hand gestures. They should dress smartly and ensure technology is working properly. The audience should be engaged through an opening, stated objective, participation, and topic relevant to them. Visual aids should use different colors, fonts, sizes, and graphics to smoothly connect points and examples. As educators, presentations should have effective, clear, proportionate, consistent, and relevant visuals and messages.
