Reading And Writing On My Life
If I said that reading was important to me right now, I would definitely be lying. I can t sit down for
extended periods of time and enjoy a good book like I used to. When I was in elementary school, and
even when I was going into high school, I was never seen without a book. When I was younger I
could finish a new book every single week. But it was very easy for me to fall out of love with reading
as I was being introduced to new technologies. It started with a Nintendo Wii. Sometimes I find it
difficult to admit that I even owned one, but the best way to get over embarrassment is to talk about it
right? Never the less, it was the beginning of the end of my love for reading. My earliest recollections
about reading and writing were very enjoyable for me. Reading had a huge impact on my life. In a
way, I guess you could even say that some of these experiences made me as literate and
knowledgeable as I am today. It was the first time in my life that I can truly remember feeling
genuinely good about myself. A while after I had gotten a Nintendo Wii, I got my first cell phone. It
was a Nokia. Obviously it was nothing special, but at the time it was extremely useful and I loved
having it around. I then moved on to own an HTC and now an IPhone. And not long after I got my
IPhone, I bought a Playstation 4, an Xbox 360, and a Playstation 2. I honestly believe that technology
was the main reason I stopped reading. Now that I have been out of the habit of reading for nearly 6

Lady Macbeth Thee Hither Analysis
Although Lady Macbeth knows what Macbeth is thinking, she still believes her influences can affect
him; as a result, she prays Macbeth can come home faster. She shouts out loud: ...Hie thee hither, That
I may pour my spirits in thine ear And chastise with the valor of my tongue All the impedes thee from
the golden round (I.v.21 34)
Hie thee hither means Lady Macbeth wants her husband to come home faster, so she can talk to him
and persuade him to catch the nearest way , which is murder Duncan. Meanwhile, there is a metaphor
that compares the pouring evil spirits to the thoughts that Lady Macbeth will instil into Macbeth s
mind later. Lady Macbeth wants to use her ideal to influence and convince Macbeth to kill Duncan.
Thus,

The Writing Style of Elie Wiesel Essay
The Writing Style of Elie Wiesel In the memoir Night, Elie Wiesel uses a distinct writing style to
relate to his readers what emotions he experienced and how he changed while in the concentration
camps of Buna, during the Holocaust. He uses techniques like irony, contrast, and an unrealistic way
of describing what happens to accomplish this. By applying these techniques, Wiesel projects a tone of
bitterness, confusion and grief into his story. Through his writing Wiesel gives us a window into the
complete abandonment of reason he adopted and lived in during the Holocaust. Wiesel uses a black
irony to emphasize the absence of normality in the concentration camps. As Eliezer marches into
Auschwitz he notices a sign with the caption, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, he uses ambiguous details to describe how the man dies, only saying, Falling back onto the
ground, his face stained with soup... then he moved no more (57). The very descriptive explanation of
when and where the bombing occurred is not as important as the moment the man dies, yet Wiesel
chooses to describe the less important event more than the other. By not telling us how the man dies
he leaves us wondering and makes us conclude how and even if the prisoner dies. By making us
examine the death of the prisoner more closely we are left with a deeper impression of the event. The
sudden change from a peaceful day of rest to one of chaos is another way of showing the confusion
Eliezer feels. The scene of the dying man resonates in our mind and shows us the horrors of the
concentration camps. Wiesel also beautifully illustrates the desperation of the prisoners in Buna by
telling us about a man who would risk death just to have a bit of extra soup (57). One last writing
technique Wiesel employs is an almost unrealistic quality to the way he describes some events. As
Eliezer travels to a new camp he is forced to stay in a shed, cramped together, one on top of another
with the rest of the Jews. There he hears the sound of a violin, in this dark shed, where the

Similarities Between Star Wars And Star Wars
Star Wars vs. Star Trek Star Wars and Star Trek, two movie titles often confused by non fans because
the first word of both titles is Star . But do not be confused because the two are extremely different in
all sorts of ways. One of them is fantasy, the other sci fi. One is full of creatures and heroes and
villains and spaceships and power and darkness, the other filled with humans and aliens who fly ships
together in primary colored uniforms. In other words, one is clearly better than the other. If you re
asking yourself which is which, let me make it a bit easier for you. Star Wars is the better of the two.
Star Wars is worth more, the Star Wars video games put the Star Trek ones to shame, Star Wars has
better film making and better special effects, the Star Wars antagonist (The Empire) is far scarier than
any Star Trek villain, and the list goes on. Still don t agree with me? That s okay, keep reading and you
ll see how much you are wrong.
The dollar value of the two franchises says a lot of what fans and billionaire companies think of the
two. The Star Trek franchise with all of its movies and tv shows approximates to about $3.5 billion.
Star Wars not only beats that value, it nearly triples it. In 2012, Disney bought the rights to the
Lucasfilm franchise from Star Wars creator George Lucas for $4.05 billion. Since then Disney has
used those rights to produce four new Star Wars movies (so far that we know). In 2015, Disney
released Episode 7 of the Star

Symbolism In The Skeleton Key
Symbolisms of Danger After watching The Skeleton Key, director Iain Softley, portrays a young 25
year old female, Caroline Ellis attending nursing school that takes a job as a caregiver for a stroke
victim; living in a secluded, decrypted mansion, surrounded by a bayou in Terrebonne Parrish known
as: New Orleans. Consequently, while rummaging through the attic of the house, she comes across
some Hoodoo paraphernalia dating back to the 1920 s. Although; notwithstanding, after talking with
Violet Devereaux, the owner, Caroline still not believing, decides to do some investigating of her own

Color can also determine perception and time; as in The Skeleton Key with the light, moss and old
trees; the colors of light, neutral and earth tones are considered the good powers. On the other hand
when we think of evil, blood or violence we think of the color red. When someone gets hurts and there
s blood, immediately it triggers a warning signal to another person; danger, somethings happened.
When we see a lot of blood we know it s a dangerous situation and it means possible death. To some it
s Dracula, sacrifice, devil, and fire. Everyone has a right to believe how they want. In The Skeleton
Key we see throughout the movie the color red; how red lines of red brick dust are placed in various
locations. Caroline uses the brick dust to try to keep Violet, evil out. Surprisingly, flabbergasted by the
results, Caroline realizes the truth about Violet when she will not enter the room. Although Hoodoo is
a religion, it s not real unless you believe it s real; like witchcraft and voodoo. When Caroline goes in
the secret room of the attic, she discovers hair, blood, bones and hoodoo ritual paraphernalia. Caroline
approaches Violet and tells her what she found and told her she needs to know what happened to Ben
when he was in the attic. Violet

Synthesis Essay On If Beale Street Could Talk
Synthesis Essay With any love comes risk. In the novel, If Beale Street Could Talk, Tish graciously
displays how her love, not only for Fonny, but for her mother Sharon, her sister Ernestine, her father
Joseph, and Fonny s family, ultimately leads to her and Fonny both having the life they wanted
together. As the story weaves in themes of justice, racism, and prejudice, we see multiple instances of
Tish and Fonny loving one another and the people around them, whether it be in casual instances such
as the many times they dine at Fonny s friend s spanish restaurant, to supporting their friend Daniel
during the tough times he faces, to the familial love and support Tish s family offers up during Fonny
s time in jail. This huge display of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the most pure senses of love comes from what is displayed by all of Fonny s and Tish s friends
as the try and help Tish and her family free Fonny from jail. Fonny and Tish, during Fonny s stay in
jail have become like Source D s fallen bird. What they both need is for people to come and lift the
fallen bird abandoned on the ground, (Source D) and as time wears on, that is ultimately what their
friends come and do. After Fonny is arrested and they re forced to give up their loft, Levy, the man
renting out the space to Fonny and Tish, calls Tish and tells her that she can have her money back,
anytime she wanted it, and even tells her that the loft stays empty until your man gets out of jail.
(Baldwin, 133) While it isn t much, this act of kindness helps to tie into the central idea that If Beale
Street Could Talk is a story about the human capacity to love. Fonny, as we see in Source F, is like the
man that is lost at sea. He s all alone, with sharks, or jailmates, circling him, and desperately needs a
friends help. Thankfully, more of Fonny s friends do help him out of the love they have for their
friend, whether their help directly helps him get out of jail, or their help helps his fiance, Tish. We
commonly see this in Baldwin s book, If Beale Street Could Talk, when Tish goes to the spanish
restaurant that she and Fonny used to frequently visit. Shortly

Volunteering In American High Schools
Many teens right now in America spend their free time watching T.V, going to parties, or just being
with their friends. What if those teens changed their activities to something that could actually help
society? By making volunteering mandatory for all students in American high schools, we can actually
do that. Volunteering makes you a better person, exposes you to different things in life, and helps your
society, so why not make all those things necessary to graduate? Your tedious sunday afternoons could
be spent helping injured animals, taking care of jovial children, or even fundraising for the poor.
Those were only some of the things you can do if you just try spending your free time volunteering.
Unless we make volunteering mandatory some teens will never even have the chance to try to do some
of those things. As an example, Gandhi once said, The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in
the service of others. First and foremost, volunteering can make you a better person, and it really helps
you to become a better problem solver. According to Online College It said, Students participating in

Summary Of Love Stories By Inhorn
I think the most significant point is to understand that what we hear from the media and other sources
of news about the culture of the Middle East and notions like polygamy, arranged marriage, and lack
of romantic love between couples is exaggerated and sometimes not true.
Inhorn in the article Love Stories explains a case of a Syrian couple who have to travel to Beirut to
receive an egg donation. The couple have been married for 17 years, but they were unable to have
children because the wife is infertile. Egg donation is against their religion, and they have not told
their families about it. Although the husband, Hatam, has been under pressure by his family to divorce
his wife, or marry a second wife, he refuses because he loves his wife. Inhorn uses this ... Show more

In fact, marriage and having a family is an important notion in Middle East, and according to her 95%
of people in the Middle East marry at least once. Because of the importance of this concept in the

arranged marriage is not a form of forced marriage, in fact it is based on the fact that couples would
develop companionship and romantic love over time. In addition, she debates that polygamy, which is
also another issue targeted by West, is not prevalent in the Middle East and only 5% of the population
practice polygamy. These are all important features that show the traditions of the Middle East are
changing. Although the couple, Hatam Huda, are both

Decision-Making Process Paper
Decision Making Process
People make decisions every day. What clothes to wear? What movie to watch? What to cook for
dinner? Most of us want to think that we are capable of making logical decisions. Goldstein (2011)
suggest deductive and inductive reasoning are part of the decision making process. Deductive
reasoning arrives at a conclusion based on multiple premises that are assumed to be true and inductive
reasoning arrives at a conclusion based on what is probably true about the evidence (Goldstein, 2011).
Consequently, doctors, attorneys, psychologists, and many other professionals are held higher on
accountability for their decision making processes. This essay gives descriptions of how humans make
logical and risky decisions, and methods ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are held to higher standards of ethical behavior for their roles and duties, including their decision
making processes (Rogerson, Gottlieb, Handelsman, Knapp, Younggren, 2011). Conversely, when
decisions involve complex circumstances, making ethical decisions can become complicated. Ethical
knowledge does not always generate ethical behavior (Rogerson et al., 2011). Certain circumstances
have personal and interpersonal influences that affect decisions, and intuition may have a larger effect.
Rogerson et al., (2011) argues that in the field of psychology, these professionals can improve decision
making processes by including a broader range of factors that can persuade decision and judgment.
Whereas Ron Howard (1986) argued that decision analysis enhances effective decision making
providing systematic analysis, imaginative creativity, and logic. Although Howard et al., argument
evolved many years prior to Rogerson et al., the concept remains the same, psychologist should not be
receptive to presumptuous inappropriate roles of advocacy or participate in analyses whose earnings
are ethically distasteful. Howard et al., (1986) suggest three levels of criticism decision analyses,
application criticism question how decision analysis improves actual decision making, conceptual
criticism argue that the deterioration of the decision analysis process may

Creating And Executing A New Music Identification System
Introduction/Background Over the past few decades, the way in which we gather and listen to music
has changed substantially. From vinyl albums to virtual music tracks, the world of music has evolved
and will continue to grow even further in the not so distant future. By continually adapting to the ever
changing environment, Spotify has emerged to become one of the leading platforms in today s world
of online music streaming (Chandler, 2011). However, Spotify is far from perfect. Scope The analysis
will explore and evaluate the need for the information system, Spotify, to implement and improve new
as well as existing functionalities to increase the business value for the current system. These
functionalities include: Creating and executing a new music identification system Enhancing the
internal search Improving the external sharing function This analysis, however, supported by various
assumptions. It is assumed that Spotify will hire, or have in employment, the correct staff to
appropriately implement these changes to the system. This system proposal also makes the assumption
that the system will constantly be maintained and updated to meet constantly changing user
requirements. In doing so, the system will consequently be properly installed and adopted to
continually create business value. Systems Request Existing System Spotify satisfies users needs by
allowing them to play music whenever and wherever. However, what differentiates Spotify from the

Developing A Creative Classroom At The Center Of Learning
Because of recent emphasis on standardized evaluation and testing, the learning environment created
within public schools has shifted its focus toward the test and away from the student. This focus on the
test has also caused the arts to become a marginalized subject within the public school system,
because of the belief, that the arts, offer the students nothing more than play time and cannot directly
improve the student s academic performance. Although what I have stated is only my opinion, I have
found that my interest lies with developing a creative classroom which places the student at the center
of learning, combats the creation of a pressured learning environment, and provides the student with

When children are given the freedom to follow their own desires when playing, their thoughts and
ideas become evident. It is the teacher s role to carefully listen as the children play and to discover
what really interests them. From the teacher s observation, she can offer them a plan. Emergent
curriculum enables teacher s to allow the students to choose the direction their learning will proceed.
The curriculum that teachers offer, helps children scaffold their learning experiences. This means that
children are able to build one concept upon another with each building block process teaching them a
little more. (Sentinel Source, 2014) When we talk about teachers bringing curriculum to the children,
we think of it not as a process of first we do this, then we do this, then your end product will look like
this, but rather more of a coordination of the environment, materials and tools to which children have
access. (Educational Resources Information Center, 2014) What is actually taking place is, an
effective teacher is setting up the environment, with opportunities for children to explore through
touch, listening, seeing, experimenting and discussing and role playing the many facets of an idea. The
teacher documents this work on boards hanging up in the classroom. These boards could include
pictures of children, questions they ask or answer, drawings they make, photographs of structures they

Action Research Literature Review
Executive Summary
Action Research believes that Human organizations can only be understood as whole entities
(Baskerville, 1999) and that social processes are best to be studied when change is introduced to
observe the effects of these. Furthermore, It makes use of a cyclical approach in order for an initial
holistic understanding of a social setting. The action research literature has strongly challenged the
character of positivism. It is believed that this type of research is derived from a different ontological
basis; it tends to a humanistic social practice rather than a traditional natural science.
Lewin started with the term ‘action research . His approach to the process is composed of a circle of

Interpretivism beliefs that the world is socially constructed and subjective, that the observer is part of
the what is observed and that science is driven by human interest. Furthermore, interpretivism, like
action research, tries to understand what actually is happening by looking at the totality of each
situation.
Positivism is a research philosophy that involves working with the observable social reality. The
emphasis is on highly structured methodology to facilitate replication, and the end product can be law
like generalisations similar to those produced by the physical and natural scientists (Saunders, 2003).
The basic beliefs are that the world can be seen as an external and objective object where the observer
remains independent. The action research literature has strongly challenged the character of
‘positivist research (Waterman et al, 2001; Hart, 1996; Susman and Evered, 1978).
These can be summarised as follows:
§ The impossibility of achieving the assumption of objectivity in research findings and outcomes as
well as the ability to control a limited number of research variables.
§ A critique of the notion of researchers attaining a detached/value free/neutral position and a
recognition of the existence of oppressive ideologies and vested interests;

Swot Analysis Of Fedex
The Federal Express (FedEx) was born as an idea for a college paper by Fredrick Smith in 1971. In
the paper, he suggested using air transportation to deliver urgent packages overnight since airports
tend to be not congested during that time of day, would make the transportation much faster and
economical. After acquiring a share in Arkansas Aviation Sales, Fred started his package delivery
business, which turned profitable by 1975 and saw a rapid growth to own 43% of the market by the
early 1990s. [1] United Parcel Service (UPS) started as a collaboration between the American
Messenger Company and Merchants Parcel Delivery in 1919. The American Messenger Company

By doing so, the company is not obligated to provide them health benefits and other allowances
(which is mandated for employees only), thereby the company had a good control on labor costs
(limited employee growth) and had significant savings. The ISP model was challenged in courts and
eventually had to resort to negotiating with multiple contractors nationwide to deliver packages in a
timely manner with the new trade rules and regulations.
FedEx follows the The Purple Promise in which the company focusses on customer satisfaction and
accepts the shipment details as is from the customer without any sort of verification. This could lead
to shipment delays if there are mistakes in the destination address by the customer which would lead
to customer dissatisfaction. [3]
UPS also has segmented its business into three segments: US domestic package, International package
and Supply chain and Freight services. According to the 2015 revenue report, US domestic package
was highest revenue segment with a share of 62% followed by International package (21%) and
Supply chain and Freight services (17%). [4]
Unlike FedEx, UPS directly hires its employees and provides health benefits, allowances and
opportunities for employee growth within the company (unionized). This helps the company to
maintain control of the schedules of its employees. Since UPS must

Common Infection Among Women During Child Bearing Period
Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is a common infection among women, it can affect up to 75% of
women during child bearing period. VVC usually associated with considerable morbidity; symptoms
include intense pruritus, vaginal discharge and dyspareunia. Many factors have been identified to
predispose to such condition such as oral contraceptive pills, pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes
mellitus and long term broad spectrum antibiotic (Cassone, 2015, Falagas et al., 2006). Beyond the
normal host, the range of patients at risk for invasive candidiasis expand to patients with acquired
immunodeficiency syndrome, those immunosuppressed due to cancer therapy and organ
transplantation (Bassyouni et al., 2015a).
Recurrent VVC (RVVC) is a more serious condition due to recurrences of symptoms ( 4/year) and
refraction to successful treatment. Long term fluconazole therapy may help in delaying the
recurrences but does not result in a long lasting cure (Sobel et al., 2004). Maintenance and preventive
therapy is essential for six months but, patients may need to stay on medication for a longer period
(Ringdahl, 2000).
Recent epidemiological studies founded the prevalence of RVVC higher than that reported previously
as the recurrence rate about 7 8% of women who experience a first episode and the discomfort
associated with RVVC is intense which markedly affects the quality of life of young women with a
strong negative impact on work and social life (Cassone, 2015).

Statistics is defined as a branch of mathematics used to analyze, explain summarize as well as
interpret what we observe in order to make sense or meaning of our observations. Every day in life we
encounter information that originates from diverse forms and ways. This means that to make this
information to have sense, there is the need to use statistics. However, due to its focus and empirical
on applications, statistics is classically considered a distinctive mathematical science rather than a
branch of mathematics (Chance et al, 2005). Thus, some tasks a statistician use are less mathematical;
for instance, making sure data collection is carried out in a manner that yields valid conclusions,
reporting results, or coding data in ways understandable to the users. Statistics is known to improve
the quality of data by fashioning specific survey samples and experiment designs. It also offers tools
used to predict and forecasting the use of data as well as statistical models. It is applicable in many
academic fields that include business, government, social and natural sciences.
Descriptive statistics are entirely used to describe the sample under study. They are used basically to
describe the fundamental characteristics of a given data. They offer simple summaries concerning the
measures and the samples. When utilized together with simple graphics study, they form the heart of
practically each quantitative study of data. This means that descriptive statistics utilized both

The Horrible Human Rights Violations
On the contrary when there were the horrendous human rights violations occurring in Rwanda with a
genocide taking place killing thousands and thousands of people there was not a single country that
chose to stand up and help. Either by providing soldiers that were needed to protect the people or by
providing resources like food, water, health, shelter or sanitation that was needed by the Rwandan
citizens. The U.N. even did not help and didn t even take a stand against the governments of the other
countries for not providing help. The only reason behind this was that Rwanda did not have anything
to offer in return for the countries providing help. It is an underdeveloped country with no resources or
benefits that could be gained if help was provided. There is no humanity in governments of countries.
They are solely run by their self interests and nothing else. All countries later when questioned as to
why they did not take any action the easiest way they found out of this explanation was that they did
not know the severity of the situation even after multiple different pleads from the public to the
countries as well as the information they were receiving from their respective correspondents in
Rwanda. The U.S. in particular did not respond to the situation of Rwanda and when it did they clearly
refused to even call the killing and murdering taking place Genocide. They believed that it was
another civil war in a country which would conclude very soon without intervention. They

The History And Social Impact Of The Circus Freak Show
The History and Social Impact of the Circus Freak Show Since it s humble beginning in the mid 16th
century, the circus and freak show act has been entertaining and horrifying people to this day;
however, in today s ultra sensitive society, how has the classic freak show evolved to be deemed
acceptable and be used to promote acceptance and positive views of people with abnormalities, rather
than viewing these people as freaks , as was the original purpose of the classic freak show ?
Popularized in the mid 16th century, the circus freak show became a common pastime in England.
People with deformities and disabilities began being treated less as humans, and more as sources of
interest and entrainment, and the crowds would gather to see these people exhibited. A notable early
display was that of conjoined twins Lazarus and Johannes Baptista Colloredo. As described by History
Magazine, Lazarus was thought to be quite handsome, appearing otherwise perfectly healthy, but for
his conjoined twin brother. Joannes Baptista protruded, upside down, from his brother s chest. He was
significantly smaller than Lazarus, and only his upper body and left leg visibly extended from his
brother s torso (Strange and Bizarre:). Based off this description it is no wonder why the brothers
became a popular exhibition at the court of King Charles I. Though the freak show was initially a
display for the upper class, it would not take long for people to see the profitability of these acts.

My Life Through Erikson s Lenses
Introduction
I am Kristie Puckett and I was born in Charlotte, NC on July 31, 1979. I was born to a Caucasian
father and an African American mother and I am the youngest of three children as well as the only girl
in the family. This Developmental Analysis is my attempt of explaining who I am and how I got that
way. I am sure I will gain more insight while analyzing myself and am truly looking forward to
looking and analyzing my life through Erikson s lenses.
Erik Erikson was of the mindset that childhood is essential to personality development. He
acknowledged many components of Sigmund Freud s psychoanalytical theory such as the id, ego, and
the superego. Erikson differed from Freud in that he would not accept that personality was developed
and based solely on sexuality and he believed that personality development continued well beyond 5
years of age.
According to Erikson, all the stages in his theory are present at birth but present only when a mixture
of natural event and nurturing events occur. In addition, each stage builds upon the previous stage and
sets up the stage for the stages that follow. Each stage has some type of psychosocial crisis, which is
based on physiological development and the environment. If the crisis in a stage is resolved then
development to the next stage proceeds, however, the outcome of the stages is not permanent and can
be altered by experiences later in life. (Erikson, Childhood and Society, 1993 )

Doors as a Motif in Chronicle of a Death Foretold
In the Novel, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, by Gabriel Garcia, a nameless narrator describes a
murder that had happened twenty seven years ago in his village in Columbia. The story starts with the
victim, Santiago Nasar leaving his front door early on a rainy Monday morning to see the Bishop at
the docks. Only an hour later he is carved up like a pig on the very stoop of the door he had left from.
Throughout the rest of the novel the story as to why and who killed Santiago is revealed. Garcia uses
many motifs and symbols through the course of this story, including doors/architecture. Doors and
architecture provide a connection to the rest of society, and through that, doors are a gateway for

The International Relations Theory That Best
The international relations theory that best explains Operation Provide Comfort would be the
constructivist theory. However, Turkey s involvement in the operation may also be explained through
subaltern realism. The fact that the nations that comprised the coalition, save for Turkey, conducting
Operation Provide Comfort went through the official channel of the UN shows that the intention was
to act within the norms of the international community for conducting humanitarian interventions.
Had the US decided to act unilaterally, without permission from the other states involved or the UN, it
strongly indicate that the US self interests superseded those of the global community. Furthermore, the
coalition of western powers respected Turkey s sovereignty by keeping the refugees at the border and
providing aid in refugee camps there. Respecting a nations sovereignty, or giving reasonable cause for
violating it, is an essential portion of constructivism as it indicates that states respect the artificially
implemented restraints on themselves that they have set up. Beyond the evidence that strongly
suggests that OPC was conducted in the sphere of constructivism, there is little evidence that would
support any other international relations theory. In a constructivists perspective, the mission devolved
from an international system based operation to a more realists military intervention when it became
Operation Norther Watch (to compliment Operation Southern Watch.) This idea is

Tom Scott and Tom First founded Nantucket Nectars in 1990 as a small side business on Nantucket s
Straight Wharf. A peach fruit juice drink that Tom First discovered while visiting Spain inspired him
and his partner to embark upon the journey of building their juice company. After only six years, the
two entrepreneurs built a business that was generating $29,493,000 per year in revenue and $969,000

Many entrepreneurs enjoy the early start up phases of the business cycle.
Of course, selling a business has its drawbacks, as well. First, the buyer often requires that the
management team from the acquisition target stay on board for a specific period of time and achieve
certain key performance indicators before receiving the entire payout. Often, there is a lump sum
delivered up front, and then incremental payouts upon achieving KPI s. This could be frustrating to
Tom and Tom, as they would relinquish all of their independent decision making powers and have to
take the back seat as employees. Typically, this is not a comfortable position for entrepreneurs to take.
Also, Tom and Tom built up a loyal and talented staff of employees at Nantucket Nectar. Acquisitions
are typically driven by synergies and, as a result, certain employees could be terminated in pursuit of
cost savings. Finally, Tom and Tom would have to deal with the fact that their company culture would
be at risk. Often, the buyers culture engulfs that of the company being acquired. The third option
available to Tom and Tom is taking the company public, or an IPO (Initial Public Offering). The most
obvious advantage of going public is that Nantucket Nectar would have an immediate influx of capital
available due to the sale of its stock. With excess capital available, they could purchase assets for
distribution and manufacturing, invest in

Night Sky Research Paper
One of the most familiar constellations in the night sky aside from the Big and Little Dipper is Orion,
the Hunter. Made identifiable by the three bright stars that make up Orion s Belt , Orion is easily
recognized throughout the world due to the convenient position upon the celestial equator, allowing
the constellation to be seen from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. I chose this
constellation as my favorite because it was, in fact, one of the first myths that I had ever learned, and
also because it was the easiest constellation that I was able to find from my Constellation Atlas as a
child. The constellation of Orion is comprised of mostly of blue stars: young, hot burning, giant stars

Though Apollo was a hot headed god, as he was the god of the sun, he was also cunning. When he
knew that Orion was swimming far in the ocean away from Artemis, Apollo came to his sister and
challenged her to an archery contest. Artemis was incredibly proud of her abilities as an archer, and so,
eagerly accepted the challenge as a way of besting her brother. Artemis welcomed Apollo to point to
anything, and she would hit the target easily. Apollo pointed to a small dark speck on the horizon,
which he knew was Orion s head, and invited his sister shoot, which she did. Of course, Artemis hit
the speck true. It was only when Apollo had already left and Orion s body had washed ashore that
Artemis realized the cruel trick that her brother had pulled. In her grief, the Virgin Goddess turned her
love into stardust, and gave him a honored place in the heavens.
This is my myth of Orion. From the day that he had been born, Orion was a sickly, crippled child, with
little chance of survival. One day, when the boy was six years of age, his father took Orion to the
temple to meet the Oracle. The father prayed

The Dickens Flynn Effect
The Dickens Flynn model is an attempt by William Dickens and James Flynn (2001) to explain how
environment and genes can interact to account both for environmentally driven increases in raw
intelligence scores over time (the Flynn effect) and for genetically driven and stable individual
intelligence differences within the human population (Spearman s g). On first glance there is much
that appears promising about the Dickens Flynn model, for it does directly address the observable
tension between the Flynn effect and g, something that many explanations for the Flynn effect fail to
do. And yet further inspection also reveals that the model is troubling in a rather conspicuous way it
sports the overall mechanics of a Rube Goldberg machine.
Perhaps the first thing to recognize about the Dickens Flynn model is the degree to which leverage
plays the key role. For instance in the authors general outline of the model, small genetic advantages
are described as being amplified through the means of a natural attraction to environmental
surroundings that serve to enhance those advantages. Environmental influences on population wide
intelligence characteristics are said to be boosted through such factors as social multipliers and rolling
triggers. And finally, genetic and environmental forces are depicted as mutually propelling each other

Analysis Of Clip Analysis Un Chen Andalou
Clip Analysis
This clip is from the 1929 movie, Un Chien Andalou. This film uses two specific formal choices that
illustrate it s surrealism, including discontinuity editing and close ups. Discontinuity editing in this
film went against Hollywood s continuity rules of seamlessly blending scenes together that not only
made narrative sense, but visual sense as well. However in Un Chien Andalou, these rules are broken
by obscure, random images that don t seem to fit together and lack any narrative sense. In the clip, we
see a scene of a man staring at his hand where ants are crawling out of a hole, then we see an image of
a person s underarm hair that soon transitions into a picture of a sea urchin. These series of images
don t make much sense when put together, yet they illustrate the surreality of the mind and how our
thought patterns often lack any significance. The swarming of the ants in the hand is an example of
lack of pattern because it symbolizes the fragmented or swarming images of our mind. These scenes
are not only non linear, but they are also discontinuous and show that our reality is constantly
evolving; we walk away with a different interpretation of the movie each time. Another formal choice
that Un Chien Andalou uses is the close up, we see this used in the first few minutes of the clip when
the women s eye is cut. The use of the close up in this scene brings this grotesque act to the forefront,
where we cannot help but look away every time we see it.

On the personal budget we agreed on $650, which was beyond my resistance point. Again, I

collaborate with the director to produce a quality film within budget. My hope was that he would see
that I was willing to scratch his back and that he would reciprocate down the road. The next three
issues we negotiated were editorial control, preproduction budget, and post production schedule.
Again we logrolled with the issues and came to an agreeable decision. The outcome of the negotiation
of this particular bundle was evenly distributed. I felt that the director was willing to collaborate with
me on these issues. I wanted the entire negotiation to follow the concept of the integrative negotiation
process by setting the tone of the negotiation as a win win. Reflecting on how the negotiation was
going to this point I felt that I may have conceded on more of the issues than the director, but the hope
was that the director would concede on the issues that were important to me. I felt I was sensitive to

My Philosophy of Knowledge from the Article ‘Islam and the...
Introduction
The article Islam and the Sciences of Nature: Some Fundamental Questions , written by Dr. Mehdi
Golshani is selected to be discussed. Mehdi Golshani was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1939. He graduated
from Tehran and then California Berkeley University with a B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics with
specialization in particle physics. He is professor of physics at Sharif University of Technology,
Tehran, Iran in which he founded the Faculty of the Philosophy of Science in 1995, and has been its
chairman since then. In his thought there is no separation between the Science and Religion; the
religion and science are interrelated that without the philosophy of religion, the scientific investigation
is of no use.
Background
Knowledge, ilm, can be divided into two categories of Islamic sciences and the various other sciences
not considered theologically. According to Islamic practice, God is the most praise worthy and the
source of knowledge whose worship can be performed by knowledge acquisition if it is done for his
sake. This kind of thought which can be also noted in Illuminationism doctrine is based on the Qur

Explain Why Weathering Does Not Produce Significant Landforms
Earth surface is not flat but it consists of slopes. The slopes are either steep or gentle, long and gradual
or short and sudden. Slopes generally covered with soil and vegetation or they can be covered by rock
and rubble. In the evolution of landforms, weathering is followed by mass wasting. Weathering does
not produce significant landforms. Rather, landforms develop as the products of weathering are
removed from the places where they originate. Once weathering weakens rock and breaks it apart,
mass wasting transfers the debris downslope, where a stream, acting as a conveyor belt, usually carries
it away. Although there may be many intermediate stops along the way, the sediment is eventually
transported to its ultimate destination: the sea.

greater communication skills reduce the risk of divorce. The counseling should also bring up
discussions that are vital to a couple s relationship. Whatever these things are they should be hatched
out before so there are no surprises in the relationship. These issues may be minor or major depending
on what s discussed. This may be a time to sort out like gender roles, expectations, and finances most

Discuss The Nature Of Evil In The Minister s Black Veil
Additionally, Hawthorne s use of the motif the nature of evil aids to convey the negative effects of
guilt and sin in both The Scarlet Letter and The Minister s Black Veil. In The Scarlet Letter, when
Chillingworth finds out about Hester s affair, his temperament immediately changes. Hawthorne
describes this as, Calm, gentle, passionless, as he appeared, there was yet, we fear, a quiet depth of
malice, hitherto latent, but active now, in this unfortunate old man, which led him to imagine a more
intimate revenge than any mortal had ever wreaked upon an enemy (209). Although the people of the

  • 2. Reading And Writing On My Life If I said that reading was important to me right now, I would definitely be lying. I can t sit down for extended periods of time and enjoy a good book like I used to. When I was in elementary school, and even when I was going into high school, I was never seen without a book. When I was younger I could finish a new book every single week. But it was very easy for me to fall out of love with reading as I was being introduced to new technologies. It started with a Nintendo Wii. Sometimes I find it difficult to admit that I even owned one, but the best way to get over embarrassment is to talk about it right? Never the less, it was the beginning of the end of my love for reading. My earliest recollections about reading and writing were very enjoyable for me. Reading had a huge impact on my life. In a way, I guess you could even say that some of these experiences made me as literate and knowledgeable as I am today. It was the first time in my life that I can truly remember feeling genuinely good about myself. A while after I had gotten a Nintendo Wii, I got my first cell phone. It was a Nokia. Obviously it was nothing special, but at the time it was extremely useful and I loved having it around. I then moved on to own an HTC and now an IPhone. And not long after I got my IPhone, I bought a Playstation 4, an Xbox 360, and a Playstation 2. I honestly believe that technology was the main reason I stopped reading. Now that I have been out of the habit of reading for nearly 6 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Lady Macbeth Thee Hither Analysis Although Lady Macbeth knows what Macbeth is thinking, she still believes her influences can affect him; as a result, she prays Macbeth can come home faster. She shouts out loud: ...Hie thee hither, That I may pour my spirits in thine ear And chastise with the valor of my tongue All the impedes thee from the golden round (I.v.21 34) Hie thee hither means Lady Macbeth wants her husband to come home faster, so she can talk to him and persuade him to catch the nearest way , which is murder Duncan. Meanwhile, there is a metaphor that compares the pouring evil spirits to the thoughts that Lady Macbeth will instil into Macbeth s mind later. Lady Macbeth wants to use her ideal to influence and convince Macbeth to kill Duncan. Thus, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Writing Style of Elie Wiesel Essay The Writing Style of Elie Wiesel In the memoir Night, Elie Wiesel uses a distinct writing style to relate to his readers what emotions he experienced and how he changed while in the concentration camps of Buna, during the Holocaust. He uses techniques like irony, contrast, and an unrealistic way of describing what happens to accomplish this. By applying these techniques, Wiesel projects a tone of bitterness, confusion and grief into his story. Through his writing Wiesel gives us a window into the complete abandonment of reason he adopted and lived in during the Holocaust. Wiesel uses a black irony to emphasize the absence of normality in the concentration camps. As Eliezer marches into Auschwitz he notices a sign with the caption, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, he uses ambiguous details to describe how the man dies, only saying, Falling back onto the ground, his face stained with soup... then he moved no more (57). The very descriptive explanation of when and where the bombing occurred is not as important as the moment the man dies, yet Wiesel chooses to describe the less important event more than the other. By not telling us how the man dies he leaves us wondering and makes us conclude how and even if the prisoner dies. By making us examine the death of the prisoner more closely we are left with a deeper impression of the event. The sudden change from a peaceful day of rest to one of chaos is another way of showing the confusion Eliezer feels. The scene of the dying man resonates in our mind and shows us the horrors of the concentration camps. Wiesel also beautifully illustrates the desperation of the prisoners in Buna by telling us about a man who would risk death just to have a bit of extra soup (57). One last writing technique Wiesel employs is an almost unrealistic quality to the way he describes some events. As Eliezer travels to a new camp he is forced to stay in a shed, cramped together, one on top of another with the rest of the Jews. There he hears the sound of a violin, in this dark shed, where the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Similarities Between Star Wars And Star Wars Star Wars vs. Star Trek Star Wars and Star Trek, two movie titles often confused by non fans because the first word of both titles is Star . But do not be confused because the two are extremely different in all sorts of ways. One of them is fantasy, the other sci fi. One is full of creatures and heroes and villains and spaceships and power and darkness, the other filled with humans and aliens who fly ships together in primary colored uniforms. In other words, one is clearly better than the other. If you re asking yourself which is which, let me make it a bit easier for you. Star Wars is the better of the two. Star Wars is worth more, the Star Wars video games put the Star Trek ones to shame, Star Wars has better film making and better special effects, the Star Wars antagonist (The Empire) is far scarier than any Star Trek villain, and the list goes on. Still don t agree with me? That s okay, keep reading and you ll see how much you are wrong. The dollar value of the two franchises says a lot of what fans and billionaire companies think of the two. The Star Trek franchise with all of its movies and tv shows approximates to about $3.5 billion. Star Wars not only beats that value, it nearly triples it. In 2012, Disney bought the rights to the Lucasfilm franchise from Star Wars creator George Lucas for $4.05 billion. Since then Disney has used those rights to produce four new Star Wars movies (so far that we know). In 2015, Disney released Episode 7 of the Star ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Color can also determine perception and time; as in The Skeleton Key with the light, moss and old trees; the colors of light, neutral and earth tones are considered the good powers. On the other hand when we think of evil, blood or violence we think of the color red. When someone gets hurts and there s blood, immediately it triggers a warning signal to another person; danger, somethings happened. When we see a lot of blood we know it s a dangerous situation and it means possible death. To some it s Dracula, sacrifice, devil, and fire. Everyone has a right to believe how they want. In The Skeleton Key we see throughout the movie the color red; how red lines of red brick dust are placed in various locations. Caroline uses the brick dust to try to keep Violet, evil out. Surprisingly, flabbergasted by the results, Caroline realizes the truth about Violet when she will not enter the room. Although Hoodoo is a religion, it s not real unless you believe it s real; like witchcraft and voodoo. In the novel, If Beale Street Could Talk, Tish graciously displays how her love, not only for Fonny, but for her mother Sharon, her sister Ernestine, her father Joseph, and Fonny s family, ultimately leads to her and Fonny both having the life they wanted together. As the story weaves in themes of justice, racism, and prejudice, we see multiple instances of Tish and Fonny loving one another and the people around them, whether it be in casual instances such as the many times they dine at Fonny s friend s spanish restaurant, to supporting their friend Daniel during the tough times he faces, to the familial love and support Tish s family offers up during Fonny s time in jail. One of the most pure senses of love comes from what is displayed by all of Fonny s and Tish s friends as the try and help Tish and her family free Fonny from jail. Fonny and Tish, during Fonny s stay in jail have become like Source D s fallen bird. What they both need is for people to come and lift the fallen bird abandoned on the ground, (Source D) and as time wears on, that is ultimately what their friends come and do. After Fonny is arrested and they re forced to give up their loft, Levy, the man renting out the space to Fonny and Tish, calls Tish and tells her that she can have her money back, anytime she wanted it, and even tells her that the loft stays empty until your man gets out of jail. (Baldwin, 133) While it isn t much, this act of kindness helps to tie into the central idea that If Beale Street Could Talk is a story about the human capacity to love. Fonny, as we see in Source F, is like the man that is lost at sea. He s all alone, with sharks, or jailmates, circling him, and desperately needs a friends help. Thankfully, more of Fonny s friends do help him out of the love they have for their friend, whether their help directly helps him get out of jail, or their help helps his fiance, Tish. • 9. Volunteering In American High Schools Many teens right now in America spend their free time watching T.V, going to parties, or just being with their friends. What if those teens changed their activities to something that could actually help society? By making volunteering mandatory for all students in American high schools, we can actually do that. Volunteering makes you a better person, exposes you to different things in life, and helps your society, so why not make all those things necessary to graduate? Your tedious sunday afternoons could be spent helping injured animals, taking care of jovial children, or even fundraising for the poor. Those were only some of the things you can do if you just try spending your free time volunteering. Unless we make volunteering mandatory some teens will never even have the chance to try to do some of those things. As an example, Gandhi once said, The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. First and foremost, volunteering can make you a better person, and it really helps you to become a better problem solver. • 10. Summary Of Love Stories By Inhorn I think the most significant point is to understand that what we hear from the media and other sources of news about the culture of the Middle East and notions like polygamy, arranged marriage, and lack of romantic love between couples is exaggerated and sometimes not true. Inhorn in the article Love Stories explains a case of a Syrian couple who have to travel to Beirut to receive an egg donation. The couple have been married for 17 years, but they were unable to have children because the wife is infertile. Egg donation is against their religion, and they have not told their families about it. Although the husband, Hatam, has been under pressure by his family to divorce his wife, or marry a second wife, he refuses because he loves his wife. Inhorn uses this ... She argues that arranged marriage is not a form of forced marriage, in fact it is based on the fact that couples would develop companionship and romantic love over time. In addition, she debates that polygamy, which is also another issue targeted by West, is not prevalent in the Middle East and only 5% of the population practice polygamy. Most of us want to think that we are capable of making logical decisions. Goldstein (2011) suggest deductive and inductive reasoning are part of the decision making process. Deductive reasoning arrives at a conclusion based on multiple premises that are assumed to be true and inductive reasoning arrives at a conclusion based on what is probably true about the evidence (Goldstein, 2011). VVC usually associated with considerable morbidity; symptoms include intense pruritus, vaginal discharge and dyspareunia. Many factors have been identified to predispose to such condition such as oral contraceptive pills, pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and long term broad spectrum antibiotic (Cassone, 2015, Falagas et al., 2006). Beyond the normal host, the range of patients at risk for invasive candidiasis expand to patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, those immunosuppressed due to cancer therapy and organ transplantation (Bassyouni et al., 2015a). Popularized in the mid 16th century, the circus freak show became a common pastime in England. People with deformities and disabilities began being treated less as humans, and more as sources of interest and entrainment, and the crowds would gather to see these people exhibited. A notable early display was that of conjoined twins Lazarus and Johannes Baptista Colloredo. This Developmental Analysis is my attempt of explaining who I am and how I got that way. Erik Erikson was of the mindset that childhood is essential to personality development. He acknowledged many components of Sigmund Freud s psychoanalytical theory such as the id, ego, and the superego. Erikson differed from Freud in that he would not accept that personality was developed and based solely on sexuality and he believed that personality development continued well beyond 5 years of age. According to Erikson, all the stages in his theory are present at birth but present only when a mixture of natural event and nurturing events occur. In addition, each stage builds upon the previous stage and sets up the stage for the stages that follow. Each stage has some type of psychosocial crisis, which is based on physiological development and the environment. If the crisis in a stage is resolved then development to the next stage proceeds, however, the outcome of the stages is not permanent and can be altered by experiences later in life. However, Turkey s involvement in the operation may also be explained through subaltern realism. The fact that the nations that comprised the coalition, save for Turkey, conducting Operation Provide Comfort went through the official channel of the UN shows that the intention was to act within the norms of the international community for conducting humanitarian interventions. Had the US decided to act unilaterally, without permission from the other states involved or the UN, it strongly indicate that the US self interests superseded those of the global community. Furthermore, the coalition of western powers respected Turkey s sovereignty by keeping the refugees at the border and providing aid in refugee camps there. Respecting a nations sovereignty, or giving reasonable cause for violating it, is an essential portion of constructivism as it indicates that states respect the artificially implemented restraints on themselves that they have set up. Beyond the evidence that strongly suggests that OPC was conducted in the sphere of constructivism, there is little evidence that would support any other international relations theory. On first glance there is much that appears promising about the Dickens Flynn model, for it does directly address the observable tension between the Flynn effect and g, something that many explanations for the Flynn effect fail to do. Perhaps the first thing to recognize about the Dickens Flynn model is the degree to which leverage plays the key role. For instance in the authors general outline of the model, small genetic advantages are described as being amplified through the means of a natural attraction to environmental surroundings that serve to enhance those advantages. Environmental influences on population wide intelligence characteristics are said to be boosted through such factors as social multipliers and rolling triggers. And finally, genetic and environmental forces are depicted as mutually propelling each other by means ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Flynn (2007), ever the paragon of candor, provides a thorough and revealing answer in the pages of his book What is Intelligence? There Flynn notes that during the height of the intelligence race debates, Richard Lewontin (1976) had offered a compelling description for how an environmental influence could uniformly impact an entire population while still leaving undisturbed any of that population s genetically driven ... • 37. Analysis Of Clip Analysis Un Chen Andalou Clip Analysis This clip is from the 1929 movie, Un Chien Andalou. This film uses two specific formal choices that illustrate it s surrealism, including discontinuity editing and close ups. Discontinuity editing in this film went against Hollywood s continuity rules of seamlessly blending scenes together that not only made narrative sense, but visual sense as well. However in Un Chien Andalou, these rules are broken by obscure, random images that don t seem to fit together and lack any narrative sense. In the clip, we see a scene of a man staring at his hand where ants are crawling out of a hole, then we see an image of a person s underarm hair that soon transitions into a picture of a sea urchin. These series of images don t make much sense when put together, yet they illustrate the surreality of the mind and how our thought patterns often lack any significance. The swarming of the ants in the hand is an example of lack of pattern because it symbolizes the fragmented or swarming images of our mind. These scenes are not only non linear, but they are also discontinuous and show that our reality is constantly evolving; we walk away with a different interpretation of the movie each time. Another formal choice that Un Chien Andalou uses is the close up, we see this used in the first few minutes of the clip when the women s eye is cut. The use of the close up in this scene brings this grotesque act to the forefront, where we cannot help but look away every time we see it. 2. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Player Joshua Stark MGMT619 In Class Negotiation The Player Introduction The Player was a negotiation between the newly appointed Vice President of National Artists Productions (NA) and a successful Hollywood director. This negotiation could have resulted in the first major motion picture deal that the producer would have worked on after his promotion to VP. In this negotiation I played the role of the Vice President. My goal was to reach what I felt was the most satisfactory agreement possible with the Director. There were 11 issues to negotiate, and each had points associated with them to show the importance of each issue. The 11 issues included the following: director s base salary, pre production budget, post production schedule, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I felt that we could logroll with these two issues and come to a compromise by trading off the desire for many locations with a low personal budget or visa versa. However, I again noted that I ended up compromising on both issues. On the location we agreed on 2 locations, this was my resistance point. On the personal budget we agreed on $650, which was beyond my resistance point. Again, I communicated my willingness to compromise. I wanted to make a good film and was willing to collaborate with the director to produce a quality film within budget. My hope was that he would see that I was willing to scratch his back and that he would reciprocate down the road. The next three issues we negotiated were editorial control, preproduction budget, and post production schedule. Again we logrolled with the issues and came to an agreeable decision. The outcome of the negotiation of this particular bundle was evenly distributed. I felt that the director was willing to collaborate with me on these issues. I wanted the entire negotiation to follow the concept of the integrative negotiation process by setting the tone of the negotiation as a win win. Reflecting on how the negotiation was going to this point I felt that I may have conceded on more of the issues than the director, but the hope was that the director would concede on the issues that were important to me. Introduction The article Islam and the Sciences of Nature: Some Fundamental Questions , written by Dr. Mehdi Golshani is selected to be discussed. Mehdi Golshani was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1939. He graduated from Tehran and then California Berkeley University with a B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics with specialization in particle physics. He is professor of physics at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in which he founded the Faculty of the Philosophy of Science in 1995, and has been its chairman since then. In his thought there is no separation between the Science and Religion; the religion and science are interrelated that without the philosophy of religion, the scientific investigation is of no use. Background Knowledge, ilm, can be divided into two categories of Islamic sciences and the various other sciences not considered theologically. According to Islamic practice, God is the most praise worthy and the source of knowledge whose worship can be performed by knowledge acquisition if it is done for his sake. This kind of thought which can be also noted in Illuminationism doctrine is based on the Qur anic verse that ‫ٍة‬‫َك‬‫َر‬‫ا‬‫ُّمَب‬ ‫ٍة‬‫َجَر‬‫َش‬ ‫ن‬‫ِم‬ ‫ُد‬‫َق‬‫ُيو‬ ‫ٌّي‬ ‫ِّر‬‫ُد‬ ‫ٌب‬‫َك‬ ‫ْو‬‫َك‬ ‫ا‬‫َه‬‫َّن‬‫َأ‬‫َك‬ ‫ُة‬‫َج‬‫ا‬‫َج‬‫ُّز‬‫ال‬ ‫ٍة‬‫َج‬‫ا‬‫َج‬‫ُز‬ ‫ي‬‫ِف‬ ‫ُح‬‫ا‬‫َب‬‫ْص‬‫ِم‬‫ْل‬‫ا‬ ‫ٌح‬‫ا‬‫َب‬‫ْص‬‫ِم‬ ‫ا‬‫َه‬‫ي‬‫ِف‬ ‫اٍة‬‫َك‬‫ْش‬‫ِم‬‫َك‬ ‫ِه‬ ‫ِر‬‫و‬‫ُن‬ ‫ُل‬‫َث‬‫َم‬ ‫ِض‬ ‫ْر‬‫َأْل‬‫ا‬ ‫َو‬ ‫اِت‬ ‫َو‬‫ا‬‫َم‬‫َّس‬‫ال‬ ‫ُر‬‫و‬‫ُن‬ ‫ُهَّللا‬ ‫ُء‬‫َشا‬‫َي‬ ‫ن‬‫َم‬ ‫ِه‬ ‫ِر‬‫و‬‫ُن‬‫ِل‬ ‫ُهَّللا‬ ‫ِدي‬‫َيْه‬ ‫ٍر‬‫و‬‫ُن‬ ‫ى‬‫َل‬‫َع‬ ‫ٌر‬‫و‬‫ُّن‬ ‫ٌر‬‫َنا‬ ‫ْسُه‬‫َس‬‫ْم‬‫َت‬ ‫ْم‬‫َل‬ ‫ْو‬‫َل‬ ‫َو‬ ‫ُء‬‫ي‬ ‫ِض‬‫ُي‬ ‫ا‬‫َه‬‫ُت‬‫ْي‬‫َز‬ ‫َكاُد‬‫َي‬ ‫َّيٍة‬‫ِب‬ ‫ْر‬‫َغ‬ ‫اَل‬ ‫َو‬ ‫َّيٍة‬‫ِق‬ ‫ْر‬‫َش‬ ‫اَّل‬ ‫وِنٍة‬‫ُت‬‫ْي‬‫َز‬ ... • 40. Explain Why Weathering Does Not Produce Significant Landforms Earth surface is not flat but it consists of slopes. The slopes are either steep or gentle, long and gradual or short and sudden. Slopes generally covered with soil and vegetation or they can be covered by rock and rubble. In the evolution of landforms, weathering is followed by mass wasting. Weathering does not produce significant landforms. Rather, landforms develop as the products of weathering are removed from the places where they originate. Once weathering weakens rock and breaks it apart, mass wasting transfers the debris downslope, where a stream, acting as a conveyor belt, usually carries it away. Although there may be many intermediate stops along the way, the sediment is eventually transported to its ultimate destination: the sea. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Discuss The Nature Of Evil In The Minister s Black Veil Additionally, Hawthorne s use of the motif the nature of evil aids to convey the negative effects of guilt and sin in both The Scarlet Letter and The Minister s Black Veil. In The Scarlet Letter, when Chillingworth finds out about Hester s affair, his temperament immediately changes. Hawthorne describes this as, Calm, gentle, passionless, as he appeared, there was yet, we fear, a quiet depth of malice, hitherto latent, but active now, in this unfortunate old man, which led him to imagine a more intimate revenge than any mortal had ever wreaked upon an enemy (209).
