- 1. HOW TO DRIVE YOUR STUDENTS CRAZY IN 45 MINUTES MOST ANNOYING THINGS YOU CAN DO TO YOUR STUDENTS To heat up, do not forget to get into class between 10 and 25 minutes late. And no way you should permit a student arrive 5 minutes because the bus delayed 10 minutes. Then repeat the process of asking your students what they remember from the last class and ask them that homework which was supposed to be optional for the next week. If some of those li’l kids then do complain about the homework make them feel totally like if they were living in a tyranny by defaming their work; you don’t care if they did make an effort on that chore, just downgrade them to feel useless, that they shouldn’t even try to study to get a job. Make sure your last scolding wasn’t hollow and give the students a long, really long, and, most important, extremely boring introduction of today’s topic that, preferably, is almost the same as yesterday’s, to release a feeling of not moving on the subject. Then, hang in an exercises sheet, but do not ever think of making enough, or even worse, one too many copies of it. Then when you ask who’s going to get some more and the volunteers start asking you to go, yell at them about not disturbing other classes, nor their partners by raising up their voices ring. The part where you yell at them while telling this is quite important. Formerly think of that kind of survey you passed the class to see what type of activities they liked. And remind that you, as a living being, do the opposite thing to get a student happy, so one day, when they expect it less, repeat that so hated one, maybe they’re going to love it in the end, so the “most hated activity” title changes from holder to another one, so you can keep this hate circle ongoing. Next, to finish up this wonderful class, ask the student with the most critical personality in the class what they think about the completely wrong statement you just made, expecting them not to correct you, to say that you’re 100% right. So, as a very unpredictable success, that student doesn’t agree, start an argument which lasts for 10 minutes after the class finishes, ending with the students getting twice homework for tomorrow while everybody is leaving in a rush.
