How to adapt in difficult environment linked
to global warming and the changes of
atmospheric and hydrology waters?!
2100 THE RISING TEMPERATURE WILL GO UP TO 7°C-8°C BY 2100, IF THE GLOBAL
WARMING IS NOT MITIGATED
- BY THE CLIMATE INVESTMENT,
- CHANGES IN THE WAY WE ARE LIVING, CONSUMMING AND PRODUCING
- REDUCING NEEDS AND IMPROVING PROCESSES.
CLIMATE IS EXPECTED TO REACH 2°C BY 2025 WITH 40% OF CHANCE AND OVER
2°C BY 2100, FROM THE MEAN TEMPERATURE OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
(15°C). TODAY, IT IS 15.8°C (+0.8°C) ACCORDING TO UNFCCC

You need to be in a survival mode during
the Anthropocen.
 Beside, the global warming and the perturbation of the water
cycle will act over 200-300 years. Even if all the CO2 of the
world stops today, the consequences of our fossil fuels
addictions will remains for 2 centuries or more. The era, when
the man is able to change the earth planet atmospheric
condition is called by the scientist as the Anthropocen.

You need to be in a survival mode during
the Anthropocen.
As we can see, cities are targeted by the
catastrophic events (war, natural hazards,
technology failures).
Global warming will increase the stress on cities
and population way of life worldwide,
More people are living in cities (68% of world
population is projected to be settled in cities by
2050 and perhaps 80% by 2100)

The carbon inertia logical thinking,
which is an unsaid by leaders
 Is comparable to tanker in the sea, that you need to change the direction
of the course. You need to anticipate the course change a very longtime
before it happens, because of the inertia of the tanker in the sea. Once I
was a skipper on boat, and I can tell you it a real experience to drive a
vessel in the ocean. It is not like driving on the road, when you can follow
the roads. In the ocean there is no raod, and it difficult to change the
direction of the boat due to the huge internia of the boat floating at the
subsurface of the sea.
 So, it is explain in the document about internia of investment,
infrastructure, CO2…

The role of inertia
 Why is it so important? Because intuitively many people might think that as soon as we
have substantially decreased our CO2 emissions (which we haven’t), the problem will be
solved.
 It won’t, not by a very long shot. Even if we reduce CO2 emissions to zero over a realistic
timeframe, the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere – and thus also the global average
temperature- will remain elevated for millennia, as can be seen in the figure below.
 The total amount of carbon we put in the atmosphere over the course of a few hundred
years will affect life on this planet for hundreds of thousands of years. And if we want to
reduce the amount of warming that we commit the future to, we need to reduce our
carbon emissions sooner rather than later.
 The longer we postpone emission reductions, the stronger those emissions reductions
would need to be in order to have the same mitigating effect on long-term warming.

More important is the preparedness to the climate
change to get the mental or physical stamina…
It is important to be trained like:
- the military, soldiers…
- Adventurous person
- Sportmen and women
For the climate change in arid zones, mountainous regions
By learning the survival skills (physical, intellectual, moral/ethical…)
Otherwise, your body will not adapt.
The skills needed in stressful environments will help
you to perform efficiently in challenging environments.
