As a magazine has a defined target
audience to try to relate to as much as
possible; for my magazine the target
audience is mainly teenagers from the
ages of 15- 20. These are the people
who will be listening to this genre of
music and may follow it to festivals and
gigs. It also fits in with the student
nightlife.
For the main model the use of a teenager
who is a DJ enables to audience to
relate to him as they know the pressure
he could be going under as a artist and
a student at the same time. Being a
teenager he follows the common trend
of being something different which
shows in his style of clothes.
Also in other images it features a gig, this
enables the teenagers to relate to a gig
or festival which they have gone to, or if
they wanted to go and had to revise for
a exam or do coursework.
With the use of a questionnaire before the
magazine was created, it changed the
way it was originally going to be as I
took into account what people thought
and their opinions. One example is the
use of the online community so I
included social networks.
 Overall teenagers are represented as a
outgoing or crazy group of people that
like to socialise well with others. This is
seen through the use of images and
festival information in the magazine.
