3. CAMERA
For our music video, we shot it
on the Canon 1200d which is a
good quality DSLR camera that
produced very detailed shots.
For a low budget music video,
it is an affordable camera
providing the quality to
produce a well made video. We
shot at 30 frames a second
making it easier when using
the slow mo. The lens used
were the EF-S 18-55mm f/
3.5-5.6 IS 11 and the EF-S
55-220mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
4. EDITING
For the editing process we used iMovie,
a software available on Apple Mac’s.
Although not the highest editing
software like Final Cut Pro, it was an
adequate software that was easy to use.
It provided all the correct editing tools,
such as transitions, camera stabilising
and duration of shots.
6. CAMERA
For the photographs in my
ancillary task, I used the
Canon 1200d again as it
provides highly detailed
photographs. I found it easy to
work and quick to take
pictures from.
7. PHOTOSHOP
When creating the ancillary tasks,
I used photoshop to edit my
photographs together for the
music poster and digi pak. I have
developed a thorough
understanding of photoshop using
a range of different tools to create
an effect that I wanted. For the digi
pak measurements I used a PDF
document found on the internet to
ensure that it would be the correct
size.
