This document describes the recording and editing facilities available at Barry YMCA, including Apple PCs, Adobe Premiere Pro, and green screen equipment. It provides pictures of the iMacs used for editing videos in iMovie and a planning sheet for directing scenes in a music video. A panoramic photo shows the room where planning and editing took place, with people collaborating to create a professional music video.

1. This was one of the recording and editing suites at Barry YMCA which has a lot of professional
recording and editing software and hardware such as the Apple PC’s and Adobe Premiere Pro
so they can record and edit the work they do. This was a high budget editing suite which
means that people would pay to edit their work there or let them do it in house.

2. Here are some pictures of the equipment we were
provided and of us using it. We used the green and blue
screen camera for filming our music video and also the
green screen itself. We also used the apple iMacs so we
could edit our music video in iMovie.

3. Here is a picture of one of the things we
learnt about at Barry YMCA. This is is a
planning sheet of the section of the music
video that we had to manage and direct
which consisted of doing each individual
scene and directing who did what in it. It
also meant looking at the types of camera
angles and editing techniques we would
use to make it look as professional as
possible. The image below is the room we
spent most of the day in doing the
planning and editing on iMovie. This
panorama photograph shows how much
we were talking and communicating to
make our music video as good as possible
because we were all working amongst
each other.
