I am very enthusiastic to further pursue my career in the food and beverage industry. I have worked for a
variety of food and beverage establishments throughout the years, and have gained various skills that match
what you are looking for. These skillsets include team building, problem solving strategies, organizing and
prioritizing work, selling and influencing others, and effective verbal communication with people in and
out of the organization.
Currently, I am enrolled at The Culinary Institute of Michigan in the Food and Beverage Management
program as a full time student, with a focus in management. Other key focus points throughout my
education are financing, wine, craft beer, beverage pairings with food and craft bartending with spirits.
The knowledge I have gained from my previous work experience and education in both the Front and Back
of the House operations, along with volunteer opportunities I have participated in has instilled a passion for
excellence and an ability to help others grow.
I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss how my skills could enhance and benefit your company in
achieving its goals. I’m available most days and evenings so feel free to contact me at the phone number or
email above. If I do not hear from you within the week, I will contact you to establish a convenient time to
meet.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Holly Symons
