Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle located in the Carpathian Mountains near Sinaia, Romania. It was built between 1873 and 1914 for King Carol I of Romania. During construction, hundreds of workers from many different ethnic groups and nationalities worked together, speaking 14 different languages. The castle complex includes Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle, and Foișor Hunting Lodge in the southeastern Carpathian Mountains.
