1. The Fun & Esteem Project is a peer-education youth project run by ACON that focuses on HIV prevention for young gay and bisexual men through workshops, discussions, and presentations. 2. The Start Making Sense workshop covers topics like coming out, relationships, sex education, health, drugs, and community. It aims to build empathy for people living with HIV through anonymous surveys about attitudes and a presentation by a young HIV-positive speaker. 3. Evaluation found that participants' attitudes toward HIV became more positive after reflecting on their own views, listening to the HIV-positive speaker share their experience, and learning about safe sex practices. The HIV-positive presentations were especially impactful.
