This document provides an agenda and overview for a presentation on H-Hypermap, a project to build a search platform called the Billion Object Platform (BOP) to index and search over billions of geo-tagged tweets in near real-time. The presentation will cover the architecture using Apache Kafka, Solr sharding, and techniques for fast geo-spatial queries and heatmaps.
