The Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki concept aims to support the overall health and wellbeing of children and their families. It is a multidisciplinary approach that combines health management, city development, guidance for healthy choices, nutrition, physical activity, and cooperation across professionals. The concept has been piloted internationally, including in Seoul, South Korea, and involves long-term education and capacity building to transfer the model to other cities by strengthening professionals, decision-makers, industries, and communities to better support citizen health.
