 Biscuit Recruitment wished to introduce a temporary work section for their website and use digital
advertising to promote it. As Marketing Manager led all actions. Met with the client to understand

month marketing strategy, leading market research and preparing the proposition for investors.
 Worked directly with business owner on a day-to-day basis.
 Gathered specs and full built business plan – identifying key markets and revenue streams.
 Researched current market expansion and built year-on-year estimates for profit / ROI.
 Created introduction letters and emails to potential investors.
 Outlined a 6 month Marketing plan including Blogger Outreach and PR; Social Media;

compliance market. They have a turnover of 8.34M and 126 employees.
 Hired to create and evaluate marketing campaigns and assist in the continuous development of
the business. Worked in a small marketing team of 4 as head of content.
 Created campaigns and collateral with Business Development managers, Account Managers,
Managing Directors and Chief Marketing Officer.
 Built weekly email campaigns and reports – reports included: open rates / click-through rates /
conversion rates / new leads / ongoing project completion.
 Reason for leaving: staff changes significantly altered the scope and potential of the role.
Key Projects / Achievements:
 Created a number of white papers, including “Build or Buy your LMS”, which led to Aegon
becoming a client with a yearly deal value of £75k.
 Led in the creation of the new group website designed to draw in large clients.
 Within 6 months working with Willow Starcom, their average open rate went from under 3%, to
over 19%, with a click-through rate of over 5%.
 Assisted in sourcing, planning and moving from a small office in Holborn to a far larger office in
Barbican. This was due to the company undergoing rapid expansion.
 Within 3 months of working with AIControlPoint, conversion rate went from 60% to over 90%,
with an estimated deal value of £100k, up from £80k.

Position: Sales and Marketing Intern
Dates: January 2012 to May 2012
Hills Balfour are one the UK's leading travel PR agencies with 41 clients, including New York City, Las Vegas
and Butlins. They have 45 employees.
 Hired as intern to assist account managers and perform general admin tasks.
 Built reports from account management campaign statistics (open rate / conversion).
 Worked in various teams, primarily with account managers working on PR campaigns.
 Assisted in day-to-day PR tasks for the company’s fifth largest account, a Swiss Tourist Board.
 Wrote weekly internal and external travel news updates and audited travel brochures.
Key Projects / Achievements:
 Successfully planned and ran event at the Grovesner Hotel for the Mauritius tourist board.
 Won an internal competition to create a PR campaign for the NYC tourist board.
Company: Clouds Memory Foam
Position: Content Developer
Dates: June 2011 to August 2011
Cloud's Memory Foam were a start-up venture based on the idea that Groupon was an outlet for sales.
 The focus of this role was to work directly with the MD, bringing a singular tone of voice and
style to their content and establishing a core focus around brand identity.
 Designed and developed a wide range of collateral; from A5 inserts that were delivered with the
beds to FAQ’s on the website and data sheets to explain how memory foam works.
 Worked directly with the MD, then later within a team of 5 in Marketing
 Worked closely with translators to establish markets around Europe. Collateral I created was
translated into French, German and Spanish.
 Reason for leaving: Found some of their business practices to be at best legally grey, and at
worst morally objectionable.

 Worked directly with website design team to create a new website for their large e-commerce
store, ‘Bodini.com’ (now Zenbedrooms.com)
