Heat Transfer Project
Objective: In assigned groups of 3 students will create a powerpoint presentation to present to
the class about a type of heat transfer. Use the textbook and internet for information.
Background:The transfer of heat is normally from a high temperature object to a lower temperature
object. Heat transfer changes the internal energy of both systems involved according to the First Law of
Thermodynamics. The three types of heat transfer are conduction, convection, and radiation.

Your group will have one class period November 20, 2013 to complete the project and
presentations will occur November 21, 2013. Use your time management skills.
