Attendees walked away re-energized about job searching, with an expanded network, elevated self-esteem, and one step closer to achieving both personal & professional satisfaction!

This was a very special free community service event for job seekers and career transitioners. Four expert panelists: Alex Freund (The Landing Expert Career Coach), Jo-Rose Portfolio (Capital-3 Staffing Solutions, LLC), Penina Rybak (CEO of Socially Speaking, LLC & Director of The NICE Initiative for Female Entrepreneurship), and Chris Boyd (Founder of Simply Best Practice, LLC), discussed various topics related to creating one's own brand. Attendees walked away re-energized about job searching, with an expanded network, elevated self-esteem, and became one step closer to achieving both personal and professional satisfaction. It was open to the public, and ideal for those who were unemployed, underemployed, in or considering a career transition. The evening included free professional headshots for interested attendees, between 6 - 7pm, open networking before and after presentations, plus Q&A with all panelists, job leads, refreshments, and giveaways.

an important city wide dialogue about the impact of businesses districts within GR
and the vitality of representing employers across the city.
Salute to Juliana for a great presentation in July which integrated her personal
professional passion and the HBA, elevating our brainstorming session. And, for
hosting our "Outside the Box" Connecting nonprofits and for-profit organizations.
Thanks to Steve for hosting the HBA in June and involving other members of his
organization to explain Mel Trotter and provide a great tour of the space.
Appreciation to Mike for working to get a reasonable printing rate for the annual
coupon books and to Jennifer H. for helping to design a great membership
awareness piece. And, for bringing a guest to this week’s Meet N Greet.
