Fruit Platter Ingredients A watermelon Strawberries Chopped apples Chopped oranges Grapes  Method Cut the watermelon in half Scoop the flesh out but leave a little Put the fruit in the watermelon and mix it up Serve and enjoy Why we chose this It contains lots of different kinds of fruits and fruit only.
Vegetable and Fruit sticks Ingredients 30 sticks Chopped carrots Strawberries Chopped oranges Chopped apples  Method Skewer the fruits and carrots onto the stick Serve and enjoy   Why did we choose this? This lovely appetizer has a lot of fibre in it helping your bowel’s contents easily go through the body.
Sandwiches Ham and cheese Ingredients 2 slices of bread 1 slice of ham 1 slice of cheese Method Put the ham and cheese on one slice of bread Then put the other slice on top. Ham and egg Ingredients 2 slices of bread 1 slice of ham  1 slice of scrambled egg Method 1.Put the ham and egg on one slice of bread. 2.Then put the other slice on top. Why did we choose this? Sandwiches are a classic favourite and has protein and carbohydrates in it.
Salad Ingredients 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons vinegar /red wine/cider 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp finely chopped onion 1 tsp finely chopped green pepper 1 tsp minced fresh parsley 1 tsp ketchup 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground mustard 1/4 tsp paprika 2 cups torn fresh spinach 1 hard cooked egg (sliced) 3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled Method Put the first ten ingredients in a tight- fitting jar Shake well For one serving(one bowl) use half the spinach Top with spinach and bacon
Berry Trifle Ingredients Half cup dried unsweetened cranberries Half cup fresh blueberries Half cup bite size pieces strawberries 6-8(4 oz) Light vanilla cream yogurt ¾ of protein bar 1/3 raw sliced almonds ¼ cup uncooked rolled oats Method In a bowl, sprinkle the cranberries on the bottom Top with 1/3 yogurt to cover More berries, then another 1/3 yogurt Sprinkle on the whole grains Apply with the remainder of the yogurt Then put on the almonds and oats for a nice finish
