2. SMOKING - WRONG
If you want to be healthy then don’t smoke because:
The tar from the cigarette will stick to your lungs making heart
disease and lung cancer more likely also it makes it harder to
breath
Nicotine is highly addictive and can cost a regular smoker
thousands of pounds a year
Many chemicals in a cigarette are poisons and can kill in high
doses
A smoker gets very bad breath
The smell of smoke will stick to your clothes and hair
It reduces your athletic ability by raising your heartbeat,
decreasing your blood circulation and making you have shorter
breaths
Smoking will cause bad skin because it restricts the blood
vessels, it can prevent oxygen and nutrients from getting to the
skin

It improves balance
Increases flexibility
Speeds up reaction times
Relief from constipation
Improves sleep
A boost for our immune system

It burns calories making you look more toned
Lose weight
Helps you age well
8. EATING JUNK FOOD- WRONG
If you want to be healthy you shouldn't eat junk food because:
It contains loads of fat meaning you would put on lots of
weight and that can lead to heart disease
It contains loads of salt, and too much salt is bad for your heart
It contains loads of sugar, and too much sugar can make you
fat, make your teeth rot, it’s bad for the blood and may cause
other diseases
It is o.k to have junk food in moderation because it does
contain things good for your health as well, but don’t eat too
much for all of the bad parts of junk food
If possible try to buy junk food with less sugar, fat and salt in,
you can check this on the packaging
10. EATING FRUIT AND VEG - RIGHT
If you want to be healthy you should eat fruit and veg because:
≈ They contain vitamins which are good for your health
and help with illness
≈ It helps lower blood pressure
≈ It helps lower the risk of cancer
≈ It helps you keep your eyes in good shape and helps
you have good vision
≈ Their high fibre helps control blood glucose
