The document discusses health fairs organized by the Presbytery of Lake Huron and Synod of the Covenant that provide health screenings and education to underserved populations. Originally focusing on migrant workers, the fairs now also serve urban areas. In July 2012, fairs were held at schools and parks for migrants and in Flint for urban residents. A total of 298 people received medical, dental and vision referrals from screenings at the events. Local churches contributed 680 health kits that were distributed.

App Store SEO比較: Google Play vs App StoreSearchMan.com
1) Google Play
2) Google Play
Google Pl

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. In the early years, the health fairs focused on
the summer population of migrant workers
within the bounds of the presbytery. More
recently the number of migrants working in
Michigan has decreased, and now the health
fairs also reach out to underserved urban
populations. This year the health fairs took
place the week of July 9. Sites included
summer migrant educational programs at
Reese Elementary School and Imlay City
Middle School, as well as an evening family
fair at the Owendale/Gagetown Park. Urban
fairs took place at Flint Trinity United and
Flint First.
3. Each health fair includes a variety of health
screenings as well as educational modules
with nutrition and health information. Each
participant also receives a health kit
containing personal hygiene items. A total of
298 individuals participated in the fairs, with
41 medical referrals, 44 dental referrals, and
32 vision referrals. The primary way that
churches participate in this ministry is
through the preparation of the health kits
that are distributed at the fairs. This year
churches contributed 680 kits. Kits not used
during the fairs are distributed later to a
number of nearby shelters.
21. A huge thank you to all
who helped make the
2012 Health Fairs
a great success!
Whether you volunteered, made health kits
or were a host site, your assistance
was greatly appreciated.
