This document summarizes a workshop about proposed changes to Macquarie University's HDR Supervision Enhancement Program in 2017 and improving HDR supervision through action planning. Key points include: 1. Registration for the 2017 workshop will be through the HRIS system and training will be included in HROnline. 2. The initial supervision program will be redesigned to be problem-based and two new modules on orientation for adjunct supervisors and cultural competence will be developed. 3. An action planning toolkit for supervisors includes early warning signs of issues and a discussion paper on complaints about post-graduate supervision. Action planning helps MRes and PhD candidates.
