About the Founder – Anand Jha
• Ansea was founded in Mar 2018 by healthcare industry veteran, Anand Jha, who holds more than 20yrs
of multidisciplinary experience in pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
• Anand’s experience ranges from sales, marketing, strategic planning, pricing & market access and general
management at global, regional and local levels in Singapore, Switzerland, Russia & India.
His most recent experience has been with Novartis group where he was the Regional Head of Market
Access / Government
• Affairs Asia as well as General Manager for Alcon Singapore. Prior to that he set-up & led the Market
Access function for Novartis Oncology in Asia, where he was leading the Pricing, Market Access, Patient
Relations & Communications function through a team of 30+ associates.
• Anand was instrumental in building country access teams, regional pricing & access capability, putting
systems & processes in place for rapid access for pre-launch and launch brands, conceptualising and
rolling-out multiple patient access programs across reimbursed, semi-reimbursed and self-pay markets
and spearheading efforts to set-up regional expert forum to accelerate access for orphan drugs in Asia.
• Prior to moving to Singapore in 2011, Anand was based in Basel (Switzerland) for more than 6yrs, working
in Global Market Access & in Global Commercial Operation functions of Novartis. In his prior experience,
Anand has worked as a strategic planning manager for Edwards Lifesciences based in Lausanne
(Switzerland) and as the Regional Manager NW Russia for Dr. Reddy’s Labs in St Petersburg (Russia).
• Anand has a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Masters in International Business from IIFT, Delhi
and MBA from IMD, Lausanne

David has 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry having held a variety of country, regional & global roles in Pricing, Market Access & Health Economics in multiple geographies
including Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong & UK, in companies such as Pfizer, Novartis, Amgen & Covance. He has worked directly with several payors & HTA bodies including PBAC &
NICE, led preparation of Global Value Dossiers & executed several access programs for high cost drugs across SE Asia. He has a Bachelor of Maths from Macquarie University, MPH from
Universityof Sydney & a PG Diploma in Medical Science from the University of Newcastle.

Preethi is comes with over 20 years of diverse experience in in the areas of business, finance & IT, predominantly in the Big 4 and Fortune 100 companies in Singapore, Switzerland & India. She
has worked with Novartis, Basel as an external auditor & with J&J, Singapore as a Manager. At Ansea she has been managing diverse projects related to market access & pricing, global value
dossiers & strategic pricing assessment tools. Preethi is a Chartered Accountant & has graduated from University of Madras.

Prachi has more than 9 years of experience in life sciences & healthcare sector working with renowned Universities (NUS, UQ & NTU) & pharmaceuticals (Novartis) in Swiss, Australia &
Singapore. At Ansea, has managed several projects involving market analysis, stakeholder mapping & engagement, conducting multi-stakeholder workshops, P&R modelling & building access
