2. Narrative using TzvetanTodorov’s theory 2. Exposition- Protagonist Standing in a field, driving and playing the guitar in the back of the car. Development- Different locations are included along with flashbacks with new characters from her past. Complication- When the antagonist has another relationship with another girl. Climax- When the antagonist and the girl hug Resolution- Back to the field where it all began i.e. back to normal.

4. Sound within our project Relationship between lyrics and visuals- In our music video the relationship between lyrics and Visuals is illustrative. For example there was a long shot of the protagonist and a clear blue sky during the lyrics- ‘There weren't a cloud in sight…’ Relationship between music and visuals- The pace of the cuts within the video fit with the tempo of the music. Mise-en-scene Location/Setting- Fields, country lanes, stream: This creates a more open and natural atmosphere along with a naturalistic narrative Props- Acoustic guitar, yellow car, step gate: Again links in with the natural theme but also a link with the lyrics. Lighting- All the lighting is natural except the fairy lights and a torch following her. The natural lighting creates a connection with the outside whereas the fairy lights and the torch help to light up the protagonist in the dark while also creating a magical effect. Costume- The protagonists simple white dress contrasts with the antagonists darker shade of clothing. This emphasizes the differences between them. Colours- Body Language

6. Editing Sped up footage when driving in the car to create a more fluid visual. Used fade transitions in order to create a smoother and more gentle effect of the shot and make the cuts less harsh which would go against the theme of the song and the visuals we created. We used a mirror image near the river to show a stronger reflection. The spotty transition we used helped to enhance the ‘fairy tale’/dreamy effect of the theme. We stuck to the 180 degree rule so the audience would not get confused. For example, .

7. Cinematography Zoom-Into antagonist. Close-up e.g When Protagonist is driving the car, Long-shots- When Protagonist is standing in a field. Mid shots- When Protagonist is playing the guitar under the tree. Low angle shot- When protagonist is in children's play park. Handheld camerawork- When in the car.
